I don’t see how you survive if bad math pisses you off to this extent. Bad math is everywhere, I advise some emotional distance for your own well being

It’s his math, not mine! I’m a reporter, not an accountant, and I do not trust myself to know his finances better than he does. That said, I do intend to interview him after this is all over, and I will absolutely press him on the real total, because I have a feeling that no matter what, it will differ pretty…
yep his order of stuff is wrong, so the amt he pays in taxes is probably 1/4 of what he claims it to be
It would be nice if his math made more sense at face value.
Yes, taxes are complicated, and when you get into the exact details, they are relatively time consuming (since you are legally required to be correct). All this being said, they aren’t actually that hard to make rough estimations on. For instance, you pointed out that charitable contributions can’t make up more than…
There’s also no mention of the fact that this guy only pays such a high percentage for income tax because he’s already raking in millions per year, and further income past a certain point gets taxed at a higher rate.
$150,000 after taxes for less then two weeks work. Oh wow it must be a hard life man
Oh I can assure you, drivers here can’t figure out roundabouts either, and there are a fair number in older towns like in DC. For all the noise we make about cars, we’re shit drivers.
the game did get a lot of pre-release hate based on some trailers. most people gave it a chance post launch and turns out it is a really solid game. I mean... with a price tag of FREE, really hard to say “no” to at least downloading the game and trying it.
The game is actually pretty great. Not as good as BOTW but a fantastic mobile game. And you don’t ever have to spend any money.
A lot. And I mean a lot of games look like Botw. It’s not just Genshin. But looks are where the similarities end. Genshin plays completely different from Botw, it’s not even close.
Yeah, it’s really not a BOTW rip-off.
Inspired yes, but not rip-off
Good god, this. A tiny human holding an energy shield can withstand anything the incredible goddamn Hulk hits him with, except that one power attack that breaks block... but it’s so cartoonishly slow that you’re guaranteed to get hit during the windup, interrupting the attack. Because if there's one thing we all know…
Hmmm pretty sure that’s Geralt of Rivia
LOL I am sincerely sorry for your pain but this is an objectively hilarious vignette
I agree with you man, but it’s not worth the headache or time or anger. Older I get the more stupid shit I worry about the worst I see it’s for my health.
Seriously, what is the point of this $h!t? Who watches this stuff?! Are the viewers’ lives so pathetic that they have to “live” vicariously through someone else (who also seems to be nothing)? Why are people watching a dude sleep and shower?!! If you’re gonna waste your life like that, at least plug into the Matrix so…
Agree on pretty much all points. I get that it’s a demo but the entire thing just feels bland. It feels like they couldn’t actually decide what kind of game they wanted it to be, it’s a looter where they make it a pain in the ass to actually farm aside from repeating the same quests over and over rather than farming…
Man, this was an interesting piece to read because I just felt so opposite from everything Ari said about the game....
Sort of hard to sympathize with the Playstation fanboys crying over Fallout and Doom likely being kept off their platform after Spider-man and MLB games were so rudely denied to us Xbox mains.
