the 99% doesn’t get the money when you buy it, welcome to basic labor theory.

So lets punish the 99% because of what the 1% has done. Wonderful outcomes.

Or you’re wrong on both counts and maybe the company really is just being honest and wants to give gamers the space to play what is unquestionably one of the biggest and most anticipated games of the year without having to split time between PoE and CP2077.

Dude, dial down the hype, the game's not out yet. For all we know this could be No Man's Sky all over again.

It’s probably both. I do see why they would put if off because of Cyberpunk 2077. I know that it’s a FTP game, but there have been a few games that paid dearly for launching stuff alongside highly-anticipated games; Titanfall 2 is a very good example of this, being launched alongside juggernauts like Call of Duty and

Think of it this way for your Scenario A. If they are being honest saying the game will be done at that time, if Cyberpunk is delayed again they will announce that mid to late November, plenty of time for this Dev to say "Well in that case, fuck it we're launching in December after all!"

I feel like I am the only person on earth who will play Cyberpunk at some point, but who also just kind of does not care about it at all.

Probably just in terms of player numbers.  They may not want to drop the update when a chunk of their user base is going to be drawn elsewhere.

Path of Exile is a Free To Play diablo-like. It’s like an MMO in that, when an expansion drops, all its players need to drop everything and grind down on the new content before it becomes old content.

Im excited, but the “Mission” for the Season starting later has me worried. In the sense that missions used to be part of the story line, that you loaded in to that had a start/finish, usually with cutscenes. But for the past number of seasons “Missions” have been a quest that you pick up and complete objectives on

Now playing

You would have heard this one after you lose access to the Light in the main campaign.

Culture appropriation is the dumbest thing ever. People being angry at being represented in any possible manner because it ain’t from their place, sure sometimes it’s not 100% correct, but it’s still better than being ignored and forgotten, don’t you think?

Whenever someone cries culture appropriation, you can ignore

But let’s think exactly what EA is doing. The company—an American company, at that—is appropriating Japanese culture and Japanese motifs to sell in its expansion pack.”

Making something disrespectful to one group because of another’s pearl clutching at the depiction of the objective culture of the first just seems like a bad idea. There is always Korean “backlash” whenever anything Japanese is depicted anywhere, so you either have to decide that you’re going to depict Japanese

I get Korea’s issues with Japan but this seems a little unreasonable. It’s a symbol that doesn’t really look like anything, and a shrine that Japanese people still pay respect to. If they don’t like the content packs then they could just not buy them.

So that’s what the kids are looking for in politicians these days?  One who plays video games?

400,000+ simps for sure.

you must REALLY hate FFXIV

I’m surprised she got away with it for as long as she did.
