My Boys was great. I once dragged friends (who did not watch the show) to some shitty martini bar in River North because the b-list guys were there for a promotional event for it. According to FaceBook this is August 2008.

That’s mostly embarrassing for you.

That type of service has an enormous fixed cost, but it is fixed. You make money by reaching a certain scale. Just like Netflix - their content spending burn is enormous, but it isn’t something that scales with number of subscribers. Eventually you get enough subscribers to turn a profit (as Netflix has finally done

You’re probably going to be okay. Microsoft isn’t Sony. They like to share their toys.

Microsoft is playing nice. The thing is, sony buys companies and makes exclusives and folks cheer, but if Microsoft makes TES6 and other games pc and xbox exclusives, sony fanboys cry?!

Someone learned how to copy and paste today.

Sony purchased Insomniac, Naughty Dog, Bend, Sucker Punch, Guerrilla Games, and Media Molecule, but OK.

The issue with Tencent has more to do with them being in the pocket of an authoritarian government.

Based on what she did, she has some super strength and invulnerability as well. She snapped Keniji’s hands like they were chicken bones.

That’s the long and short of it. They can’t be assed to read past the headlines so it doesn’t matter what actual policy you have if you don’t utter the magic incantation that’ll summon the leftists.

This is the party that hid “BLM” letters in the background of a video during the Democrat National Convention like a fucking video game easter egg rather than have the political conviction and strength of will to even mutter those words

Biden was honestly like my 5th choice to be the nominee, but you have to be a real asshole to make comments like the one you quoted or even the headline.

Forgive me if I’m misinterpreting the thrust of the book, but I don’t think I can handle another indulgent, leftist self-critique right now. While it’s necessary for us to remain conscious of what we believe and how we choose to act on it, leftist propensity for critical evaluation and reflection leads to a spiral of

I don’t know, I don’t actually think one needs to read too deeply to understand what the developers were going for in the original Battletoads on NES; it boils down to starting every sentence with “wouldn’t it be cool if...”

I’m fairly certain the guy who wrote New Groove blurb is the oldest contributor to this list and I’m also pretty sure that I, who also voted for it, am the second-oldest.

Just watched it last night...loved it!

Isn’t there a scene in Dead or Alive where literal health bars appear above the fighters’ heads? That is a movie I was certain I would hate, but I was surprised how much it let me laugh along with it. It knew what it wanted to be.

It looks fine, I guess, but I really wish they’d offset their thumb sticks like everyone else.

It’s a good thing we had strong and competent leaders that prepared us when all the experts warned of the coming issues in early-to-mid January. Imagine where we’d be if they just mocked it and didn’t prepare at all!

Now that I know the name of the deceased, I think I may need to see this movie. They’re most assuredly NOT playing Clue.
