Strongly disagree. I won about 70% of my bouts in ARMS using motion controls exclusively, and at no point did I feel like I was at a disadvantage, other than when fighting more skilled opponents.

I agree, and I must say I can totally see where Nintendo is trying to go with this game: it’s a pretty straightforward fighting game where anyone can pop in and have fun. It’s almost more of a party game. There are no movesets to memorize or complex combos to perform, the major skills rely purely on timing. I don’t…
I guess he’s not saying that SM64 is special because of it, he’s just saying that’s how it works in SM64. Maybe the audience didn’t know that, and this knowledge is important for understanding his video.
They do it that way to force as many people as possible to play at once and give the servers a proper stress test.
In the effort to insert some objectivism here:
Maybe you just aren’t creative enough!
GAWD don’t make me agree with another Trump Lackey. I once had my tiny tweezers taken out of my bag at security. WHAT THE HELL KIND OF TERRORISM CAN I ACCOMPLISH WITH TRAVEL TWEEZERS?!
Free? Hardly free. My premiums for a family of three is over $10k a year, my co-pays are $65, and my deductibles are over $6k a family member with a $15k cap out-of-pocket. This does not include eye care or dental. Free? Hardly. I’m handing over well over $10K a year for what? The three times a year my family goes to…
I think a better way of saying it is that none of these services were “free” under Obamacare. You are right that we need to attack the problem of cost. Unfortunately this is not a plan that does attack the cost it just shifts the burden.
Whereas for the last few years, you were dependent on other people funding your birth control. Now, you share a bit more of the cost.
From the moment I saw the Inkling Girl’s animation I was expecting Nintendo to patch it out. I was actually genuinely surprised that made it through quality control. It’s a pretty common gesture for “up yours” in the United States too.
I know it’s not an “emergency” becuase you’re still in the fucking theater. You’re phone is a giant blinding light flickering.. it’s not about staring at your selfish ass. I didn’t pay good money to watch people yank out their phones every minute and a half
Sorry, but it’s hard to focus on the big screen in front of you when there is a small, brighter, glowing screen much closer. Unless it’s an emergency, it can wait. And if it is an emergency, well then leave the theater.
That is a hardware issue not a software issue. Buy a phone with a better GPS antenna.
Sounds like your phone is the one struggling.
Not something I’ve experienced, but I can’t see how that’s anything other than a GPS hardware issue. Can’t really blame Google Maps.
Pretty much. I got a case and screen protector, and a USB C charger that is rated for the Switch. So I’m good to go without a dock for a while.
You heard the man, people: do not, under any circumstances, like, share, retweet or discuss any Deadspin articles, no matter how much you may have enjoyed them, lest they gain goodwill without proper payment. And need I remind you that they are owned by a multibillion-dollar company?! I can’t quite articulate why that…
Developers, take note. More like this. If you really want us to buy digitally because of profit margins, offer downloads at a lower price. If the physical price has to be increased? Give us more bang for our buck. When you do both, it’s like magic.
