Yeah, this is one of those weird cases where the portion removed is actually one of the lesser issues. It’s just because it’s a gun that is was removed. Not the inherent violence behind it, but the object itself was vilified.

You underestimate how much of that reflection is going to be very similar just because of the lack of variety in textures. Hazy Maze Cave, the level most associated with the Metal Cap, is a lot of dark or straight up black backgrounds and ceilings.

Seeing some Metal Mario mods already that make him look like legit chrome. About the only way it’d be better is with real-time reflections...which would probably not play all that well as he’d be pretty hard to distinguish then...

I feel like having the stability of several seasons already ordered will give them the ability or willingness to go that route. When it's season to season on renewals, I could understand not really being willing to look into a long, character reform arc, but now they might.

I think it’s even simpler than that.  I think Mario’s just got a visual scanner on the bottom that recognizes color and special visual codes on certain bricks (i.e. Goomba heads).

Yeah, I mean, having two islands between me and my son was the ultimate goal anyhow (and he might be able to play via my digital purchase on his own island as well), but there’s a little part of me that wishes we could still share an island since it would allow us to pool some resources.

Not in terms of just switching between devices. Each Switch gets a unique island, so you could each have your own island and play together via wireless in one or the other town, but you will not be able to share a single island between two different devices.

Got digital (I mean, if you’re getting ANY game digital, it’s gotta be this one, right?), so that’s not an option, but doesn’t address the original issue anyhow...could he transfer to his Switch from mine.
