Because we vote for government. Corporations are owned and operated by individuals who are ultimately responsible to no one but shareholders and they don’t give a shit about the greater good or the people they have to screw over to make their money. Their priority is making more money.

A) It was not legislation which was part of the problem...they could never pass an actual law because of bipartisan mentalities.

That was in response to the original post. Yeah, they’ve got the framework there already, but my point was that it took more effort for them to screw us than it would have to just leave well enough alone.

No, they were not happening, but there were murmuring and testing of the water in regards to pushing into that territory.  That’s why it’s a protection...to prevent that from happening in the future.

Yes, because corporations have the public interest at heart. If that were the case, my wages would increase to match inflation. Funny how everything I pay for is adjusted for inflation, but what they pay US isn’t.

There are a number of reasons to be upset a game cane to a different console later than others. It could be they’d prefer to buff their Gamerscore, they just prefer one console to another, if it had multiplayer, their friends may all be on one console versus the other, and in the Switch’s case, I’d rather get any

Right. I they start tweaking things, it’s basically like forking the codebase from a decade old version. It really is ludicrous to maintain two separate versions of something like this.

I know, right?

Yeah, that’s what OP meant.  There are literally zero karts tracks in Gatlinburg considering the entire town’s on the side of a mountain.

Well, that’s kind of the point as well. It’s not super bloated for games (about $9 more than retail), but even still you have to factor in their lost rentals and overhead while the product is replaced...assuming it is at all.

Women don’t seem to get that though. I get they can do whatever they want since it is their face, but it’s ridiculous of them to just dismiss people as being sexist, creepy, or “just trying to get some”.

Considering if you hold onto it long enough they just charge you a final price and let you keep the game, seems kinda fair.

My philosophy in life is that I do not regret the things I’ve done in my past. They shaped me, taught me lessons, and perhaps my mistakes of the past kept me from ending on a worse path.

I get a vibe that it’s all intentional. As you say, they’ve been given some very important missions that they were clearly not equipped to handle. Now, the guy that caused so much grief between the captain and CO was assigned to The Orville?

Consider a backpack diaper bag instead of one that hangs over your shoulder.

I’d actually believe that it’s affecting his bottom line.

Had a mod for Halo on PC that “stopped time” and I had a fun time with that. Anything with hitscan still shot instantly, but anything projectile based (including needlers) would just sit there after shooting. I’d create a wall of needles in front of the frozen enemy and “restart” time only for them to be impaled and

Yeah, I like gesundheit myself. Very neutral and, as you say, is a load of fun to say. I think that helps to lighten the mood for the sneezer as well since they are usually caught off guard and maybe even crack a grin.
