Most of the locations were submitted by users, so they were supposed to be done with discretion, but most people just submitted them in a manner that made playing convenient for them.

It’s “flaky” because it just uses the raw data. Most apps (like Google Maps for instance) take the raw data and then also factor in your compass direction and movement vector to determine which direction you are heading and on what street and snap you to it. If you notice, many times a circle appears around the arrow…
Like I said, some people are douches, but I’ve not personally seen anything of the sort in the two smaller towns I’ve played in. Yeah, I’m sure it’s worse in bigger cities, but the trash problem is already bigger in the city because apparently people don’t care. It’s a societal problem, not a problem with Pokémon GO…
Right, there are always douches in any group of people, but as a whole, I feel Pokémon GO players are a benefit rather than a nuisance. Just be respectful of those around you. I mean, I kind of understand the issue in Australia since it was affecting local residents. That’s why I tend to stay on public property,…
Here you go. Embrace the phenomenon that is bringing people out of to your town. Downtown areas (especially in smaller towns like mine) have been near vacant for a decade or more, but I cannot go downtown and not see a whole bunch of people these days. Those same people are also buying things they wouldn’t have…
OMG! My fat thumbs! XD
Hopefully there will be handheld and dock bundles which cost more, but they will also sell the handhelds separately at a lower cost. I suspect the Tegra chip is for the handheld portion, but there’s something more powerful in the dick that gives it a console level performance boost.
Duh, the paragraph just below that specifically states what I said about catching Pokémon you have already caught. The phone has to stay on already, but it’s true you may have to actually deal with the screen even at a PokeStop, but I know for a fact that you don’t have to pop the bubbles now, so it’s not like you…
Pokémon GO Plus will most likely still require the phone to be on and it has been said that you can only catch Pokémon you have already caught before. Granted, catching repeats is a big part of the game and it does at least let you collect from Pokéstops without pulling out your phone.
I’m Team Instinct and I still belted out a good laugh at that one. XD
Sliced cheese was on the brain, so I forgot about individually wrapped cheese sticks of various types. There was one cheese stick I remember was terrible, but it was definitely the brand in that case.
My problem is not with the “American” adjective. It’s not got anything to do with the type of cheese at all. I hate any and all cheeses that come individually wrapped. Give me a good sliced American cheese and I’ll happily eat it just as I won’t eat cheddar or pepperjack that’s individually wrapped. Not sure if it’s…
Explains why my power bill is so much lower than other people I know. We keep the AC turned up during the day, but really crank it down at night since I cannot sleep hot. I can live hot, but I need to shiver to sleep. XD
Well, I never said anything about walking in Central Park, at night, glued to a smartphone since I’m only 800 miles from NYC. Some people take the whole thing a bit too seriously and are out at all hours of the day and night and really do stare at their phones the whole time. In reality, you do not have to do that.…
Because Discord is becoming a pretty popular alternative to some like an IRC which was where communities like this tend to be. It allows quick communication as opposed to a forum. Everything has a Discord server these days from TriForce Heroes, to Pokémon GO, to Elite: Dangerous.
Not all of it to be sure. I don’t sit and watch 24/7 news coverage because I don’t want to be so depressed I want to jump in front of a truck.
What the heck are you rambling on about?
It’s not just baby boomers. It’s early Gen Xers too.
I have a feeling that Pokémon GO may have actually been partly to blame for that. Not to mention the company shift from Google.
Yeah, I had a portal added when I played Ingress for an old church building. They’ve since tore it down, so now there’s a PokéStop in front of a patch of freshly sown grass...
