Yeah, but I would try and do it just right to where he didn't get angry so much as his brave attitude. It's been a long time, but I remember there were certain ways to always get him to do that. Makes him a bit reckless, but sometimes that's what you needed to get those more hidden things.

Loved this game as a kid. Some of the things in that game were incredibly hard to figure out on your own and even if you knew how, sometimes they were nearly impossible to do.

They have tried. I've seen Yardley!'s pitch work for Nintendo. It's good (as Yardley!'s work typically is), but it did sort of stray from the Nintendo style much like this comic.

Yeah, it's sorta like a remake of the old Super Mario Adventures comics from back in the day. I'm assuming that's the point though considering the name of the comic.

I don't know that I'd personally consider myself "stoked", but a switch up of (let's face it) that magnitude, would be fresh. I could personally get behind a female Link. It would be a nice twist...especially if there was NO person to be rescued. Just her, being a badass, saving a kingdom.
