My preliminary introduction to Linux was actually rooting my Android phones. Got a basic idea of the root directories and some basics of the command line through terminal emulator.

Should be. I'm actually posting this from a Vista laptop on which I installed Elementary OS Luna...which I am accessing via VNC from a Windows 7 computer at my in-laws. XD

Something about 3 that kind of slipped my mind earlier was that it was implied that Tony LET Rhodey have the suit. He planned it. So, having a reactor installed already would not be out of the question either.

Well, technically, the arc reactors glow all the time, though they may intensify under stress. My guess is that there are also lights around the arc reactor slot to make it look like Tony's in the suit regardless...

They don't need to make a controller. Their Wii remotes already work with standard Bluetooth. They just need to integrate the software to handle it instead of us having to install a third party interface.

Typically this is the case, but there is a certain level that has potential to pull them around. I would say my wife did not initially respect my gaming, but she was very tolerant at first. Eventually she got upset with me and as such has cut me back, but she is slowly seeing when she actually sits down and sees me

Thankfully, I work for a company and at a remote office from HQ which is never customer facing and rarely even has anyone from the other offices show up, so a number of my co-workers wear shorts and T-shirts most days. I personally don't, but only because they keep the office so cold most of the time.

Exactly. The premise and story of EVE seems epic, but to actually play (and pay money to boot), is just something I can't do...not that my crappy PC could handle it anyhow.

Oh yeah, the only reason I bought Sonic 2 was because it also supported the Wiimote natively. Touch controls still suck on it.

Here's the thing with a lot of SEGA's re-releases, they at least ADD value to the original. I bought Sonic 2 for Android recently for instance. It added save files, Tails could fly, Knuckles as a playable character, Sonic 2 beta Hidden Palace Zone is FINALLY in a SEGA product, and online, full screen multiplayer.

It wasn't hard, but it was broken in the sense that you could make it near impossible to complete if you use your keys in the wrong place. Also, it was tedious due to having to play the Ocarina all the time and having to put the Iron Boots on and take them off.

I voted "I care some," but not because I prefer 60FPS over 30FPS. The only aspect of frame-rate that I'm concerned with is consistency. If it's 24FPS, I'm happy so long as it sticks to that and doesn't get choppy or sluggish. The only time a 60FPS rate might be needed is on high speed games like racing games and

Didn't say it was realistic in regards to materials. It's more realistic in terms of design. He still had "tennis shoes." It's natural that as he became more prominent, he'd want to improve his image and make a better looking costume.

Yeah, but at least it made sense. Peter would improve the costume over time versus the stuff he practically threw together in the first film...at least it was better than a sweatshirt with spraypaint. XD

Yeah, I am mildly lactose intolerant (i.e. it takes a full week of putting it on my cereal, but I vomit terribly come the weekend), so I drink a lactose free milk variant, but I'd be fine with almond milk. This particular variant is just approved for the diet I am on so I stick with it for now.

Well, I did state that they'd be customized to the user, rather than just a link. To force it to automatically go to a URL would be terrible.

Yeah, but when I play with strangers, it annoys the hell out of me.

That's funny. Last week I kind of did something exactly opposite. I said to a co-worker that I had thought I'd seen another of our co-workers (who is black) several times that day at a conference we were attending.

Exactly. Create and AdBlock for it and replace all ads with murals, videos, or success GIFs. XD

Yeah, I like that idea of augmented reality. No more billboards with actual ads on them, but rather some marker that triggers a customized ad or even artwork or whatever. I would love to be able to decorate my house with a "QR codes" that are interpreted differently by each individual's HUD based on artistic tastes.
