I'm a programmer and I completely agree. I always knew I wanted to work in computers or videogames, but I did not actually learn to code until I was in college. It wasn't until then that I realized I would NEED to be able to code if I wanted a job in my field. I would have loved to be a videogame designer, but it

I agree that over population is potentially a serious problem. Really, it takes basic logic to understand the problem. Population is increasing which increases consumption of resources. Those resources (land, non-renewable resources such as certain metals such as copper, iron, and materials used in electronics) are

What about Shanks? He's a ghost...for what...the fourth time?

A "Freemium" method might be the best way to go financially. I think that's the part Notch feels is a scam. Almost all F2P games end up having micro-transactions that ultimately cost more than a monthly fee would...lure them in with no monthly fee, but trick them into paying a fortune on items...a scam in a sense.

Exactly, if the gameplay warrents my purchase and the multiplayer is good, I am happy to pay a SMALL monthly fee for a persistent world where I can set a course and travel while I am not immediately able to play. Same goes for mining, running computer programs, etc.

Agreed, I really enjoyed the artstyle and voice work for Spectacular. Joss Keaton is the best Spider-Man voice I have heard. He had the comedic timing and tone of voice that just really felt like Spider-Man.

I'd totally give up my car. I drive a Hybrid, so my mileage is pretty good and I'm not polluting as much as I could be given my hour long commute, but I would love the opportunity to WORK while I'm getting to the office. With an hour commute, I could stay in the office for two hours less each day.

Perhaps I'm missing something since I didn't play the Wii Mario Party games...but are all the characters riding the SAME car in ALL those screenshots? Are they changing the board mechanics? I think that will make things incredibly weird and just plain stupid...

While the opening premise is indeed the whole real-life fairytale characters, I feel that they could deal with the lost memories in the first season, second season is a conflict in the real world, and then they move back to the fairytale world and Emma has to deal with that world and the conflict she feels about

Still have mine as well. I always took him to school when I was younger too. I'm going to give him to my son when he is born.

I agree that failsafes can be created to solve most failure scenarios, but I do question the feasibility of high-speed docking and ensuring a connection and the maintaining of matching speeds. I also know it can be done though. Airplanes can be refueled in mid-flight and I can't imagine locking two trains together

I don't truly fit into one of these categories. Personality-wise, I fit the clown category because I do love to quip (Sonic and Spiderman are my heroes). Gameplay though it doesn't match because I don't like exploits. None of the catagories really fit me as a gamer though.

I'd have to agree. I avoid politics with anyone down here. Everyone is off their royal rockers. Actually had a guy last night arguing with me about the Occupy movement. I don't necessarily agree with the Occupy movement entirely (i.e. something needs to be done and we need a seperation of business and government

Yay, a clip show...just what I always wanna watch. Occasionally they are good though, so I'll hold out judgement...though the title sounds familiar, so it may be a rerun.

Mythbusters is not new this week...or at least not the episode you have listed. The manhole episode was this past Wednesday...I just watched it Saturday.

I got chills reading this. This is the side of gaming I wish everyone could see.

Unless of course she's playing Katherine, her vampire double. Katherine I could totally see wearing that...but not anymore!

I had no problem reading the article. I don't get the hate Gawker site writes get about their writing. Yeah, I see the occasional typo or a phrase that might be SLIGHTLY confusing, but I can usually read their articles no problem.
