Artwork support is still limited. Eye candy is not really top priority but there are a few concepts in development.

Make sure vsync is enabled, if it’s not working then vsync is not working properly on your setup.

in windows it looks for retroarch.cfg on the current working directory, maybe you had it on a location that needs admin privileges?

In-game saves should just work provided you can copy them. Save states are not always compatible among platforms, specially when trying to move from little-endian to big-endian or viceversa, your mileage may vary.

heh, interesting thing, we have retroachievements support now (separate project, similar name), and that site has leaderboards too

yeah it runs fine, there are some weird issues with recent insider builds and xinput controllers but nothing else

higan is just the frontend.
bsnes is what’s actually accurate and better than the other snes emulators out there. The same can’t be said of bnes yet.
