The body of the sauce is carrot purée, which is probably why you see some lumps in the texture. Sounds weird but SO GOOD.

Interesting that people stick with one sauce. I keep at least a half dozen different shelf-stable hot sauces on hand because each one has a different flavor profile. You have to have the right sauce for different foods. Tapatio is definitely best for eggs. Of course, if I’ve made my own, that takes precedence.
