I watched that acceptance speech up in Canada and experienced a feeling wholly unfamiliar: I wanted to be American. Just for a day. Just so that I could get to be a part of it all. Turns out a lot of my friends had the same feeling.

I'm Canadian, and I've never had to wait more than 5 min to vote, whether I was registered or not.

Hilarious!

Yer welcome. :)

Agreed.

That clip is taken from a long-running investigative journalism show on the cbc, called "The Fifth Estate". Sorry for the confusion.

Really getting tired of mental illness being stigmatized in this way. Depression is not something you can think your way out of.

That guy is seriously hot. I wish the writing on the show was better tho.

Do not try any malarky with The Fifth Estate. You will be schooled. Hard.

The great and mighty Google didn't know what mini-parkins were. Maybe you could enlighten me?

Smarties are candy coated chocolate in Canada and Britain. Americans have to make do with M&M's.

Rockets. I can go through a 900g (2lb) bag in a week.

The hymen is an intact membrane near the opening of the vagina. It's biological function is to protect your infant lady bits from infections for about the first two years of life. Your body stops maintaining it after that. As you grow and develop, hole(s) open up in the center, and what you're left with by the time

It's one of those unspoken societal rules that you don't talk to strangers in elevators. You just don't do it. Anyone who thinks otherwise has something seriously wrong with them and should be avoided as much as humanly possible.

I'm convinced someone has been slipping Red Bull into Mitten's beverages the day of the debates. I'm also convinced Ann Coulter has a brain injury.

Believe it or not, late-term abortions are sought by people who are desperate to be parents. Serious malformations that will result in an agonizing death for the baby once it is born is the main reason these terminations happen. I'm sure that if either of the two couples I know personally who have had to make this

This type of workplace harassment happens to non-office workers too. I am a lab tech and at the last laboratory I worked at, the resident she-bitch scientist (there's always at least one) was making constant formal complaints to HR and other supervisors about the summer students' attire one year. As the students

We don't have it in Canada. University admissions are based solely on your marks in high school. Meritocracy FTW!
