Well said. I'm not the biggest fan of electronic music, but I acknowledge that having an ear for catchy tunes and being able to churn out well-produced tracks is a legit form of song-writing.

It's not my cup o' tea, but if someone can work out tunes via some simple tech wizardry and make a lot of people like it, then props to them.

The S2 or the new Focus S will be my next phone. I need more time with WP7 to see if I can get used to an App List instead of multiple homescreens and app icons.

Actually, the plastic of Samsung products actually makes them pretty sturdy. I hated my Galaxy S's plastic case at first because it felt so cheap, but because it's light and plastic, it doesn't dent or shatter after the countless times I've dropped it. Some of the cheap, chrome paint chipped off, but, besides that,

And if the kids are united, they will never be divided!

I love this. As someone who's always typically been a bigger fan of more modern rock/metal, Thin Lizzy is one of those bands that really grabs me despite being so different from everything else I listen to.

I'm just saying that I doubt there's $2000 worth of design and engineering in making a cellphone look fancier and putting your fancy name on it. If a smartphone off-contract runs for $400-$800, I would put the Porsche/Eddie Bauer/Ferrari versions at $1200 MAX for the additional flair, unless of course they've added

I don't know that they ever intended to be strictly journalists. You can try to report on technology companies and the release of new products in an objective way, but then on the next article write a completely tongue-in-cheek rant about toothpaste or coffee shop laptop etiquette. It's never been completely

New fees all over the place. Life is getting more expensive. My bank is going to be charging a monthly maintenance fee for using a debit card unless I somehow earn more money and keep it all in their bank. Salaries are stagnant, prices go up on everything, blah blah blah I'm the 99% blah blah blah, etc.

Just checked Trash Bags out. Very cool. Shame there's no buckle and they lack a zippered pocket in the front, but it's not bad if you're going for the minimalistic look. Me, I love having a bajillion pockets in every corner, and a standard pen/pencil slots (I'm a student).

$2000 for ANY phone is kind of ridiculous, though, wouldn't you agree?

Haploid cells are still "real cells". A sperm cell is a cell. Many species of microorganisms have haploid phases of their lives. For anyone that's interested, here is a great link from my Histology professor's website: [www.vetmed.vt.edu]

Yeah, I'll keep my Chrome bag, as it's waterproof and can hold groceries, my laptop, and my class notes without a hitch.

I agree with Bburg's advice :)

Thank you, I didn't realize that the first two times this was pointed out.

Noticed that now. I had watched the video on mute at first just to see the browser speed test (I was in class and should have been paying attention).

It's amazing the difference in screen quality between the phones. I don't know if it's an artifact of the video camera, but the Nokia's ClearBlack display blows the 4S's out of the water in terms of contrast and how vibrant it appears.
