The problem with your analogy is that I've yet to interact with a shark attack victim or vending machine victim. In extension, I've yet to interact with someone legitimately concerned of sharks or vending machines. I'm 25. My only exposure to these phenomena is 2nd hand accounts of popular entertainment.

That's AWFUL. Maybe more stories on this from Jez.

It might of been my group of friends, but none of the females I associated with during my college years were looking to get married either. Drunk, certainly, but not married.

Yeah, I think they thought it was. Maybe in 1012.

Woah woah woah, here come the facts! Nicely done.

Um. Thank you.

I'm adding your last sentence to my "goals" section for my strategic planning meeting.

I haven't heard many stories of harassment in Houston. That might be because Houston's walkability is horrible, and the only remotely walkable neighborhoods are Downtown or the Gayborhood. No one lives in Downtown, and walking around Montrose is quite nice. Everywhere else is driving. :/

ahahahaha, my paying customers tell me what they think (good, bad or otherwise) all the time. If she stood there and shouted the whole time then the venue would sweep in and collect her. Otherwise let em go.

This is VERY random, but I always thought the intro to the animated Beauty and the Beast gave a very nice summation as to the purpose of life. The Beast (human) who refuses Enlightenment (the rose bargain) is doomed to remain in invisible squalor for all eternity. The key to Enlightenment is the willingness to accept

What about the vast swaths of silent No-Opinioners? I have to say most men I meet are not set either way about Feminism; it's like every time you bring up something around that subject they seemed stupefied. Truly stupefied. Once I was at a trade show and someone started discussing his different filters with me, and I

Their final conclusion?

Idk. I live in Texas, and I sincerely wish there was an atheist on the educational planning committee. Maybe that's not part of a PR campaign per say, but I'd like for us to be a bit more active and open.

It's too gray area for me to really evaluate, but let's focus on this instead:

But that makes their position even worse doesn't it. They want to stop others from wearing clothing they themselves wear because they're upset about the venue? That's ridiculous. Unless the government is going to come out and claim the whole country as one giant place of worship they need to get with it.

Could I move that said atheist school should have a whole class devoted to objectively looking at religions? All religions. Especially ones that aren't really practiced anymore. Nothing makes someone more atheist than actually reading religious texts outside of conditioning environments.

When did the term Founding Fathers come into vogue? I don't think they called themselves that did they?

Good god, you'd fund millions of dollars of profit for Faux News.

She'd probably be in full support for a school for sick children. She's Christian!

Yeah Atheism could really use a massive PR campaign since having Facts on its side hasn't done anything for the label (seen as similar to pedophiles). Its time for celebrity endorsement since clearly this country cares about nothing else.
