Throw in some white friends, and I’d watch the shit out of it.

There is something to be said for staying in your lane. Our culture is obsessed with having celebrities be jacks of all trades just because they’re highly visible.
Yeah, that was tough to Google, and I trashed them immediately. But that people in this thread apparently don’t even know how the slur originated had me like, time for a history lesson.
What a weird culture. People’s brains are just wigging me out today. Who says “black women don’t watch horror movies” just because you don’t know of any (which also doesn’t make sense because Traccy is black, and she wants to make one)? How do you know? Have you met every black woman on the planet? Have you taken a…
It’s particularly a bad idea from a brand standpoint if you want your company to be seen as relevant and reliable. Who works in marketing and design over there who didn’t see this mock up and think, “Um... there are a few ways this could go wrong downstream...” They have whole teams to decipher this stuff, and given…
This is why. Comparing black people to monkeys is historically known as racist. It’s also so deeply seated that I doubt this is one thing we want to “get over.” That’s like saying we need to reclaim “nigger.” In what world would you do that?
What the fuck? Why would they even bother? They know they’re going to get blowback, so just don’t make the thing and don’t do anything with it and don’t put it on any kids. Is this some kind of backward marketing strategy?
Political experience or a civic-minded commoner willing to get their feet wet in local government and work their way up, so we can finally purge the power-mongering suits who just keep us swinging from one end of the political spectrum to the other every 4-8 years.
Yes! All but Crocodile because I was doing laundry and in and out of my condo and was like, I’ve paused it too often to keep track now. Ppl here don’t seem to jive w this latest season, but I actually felt like it had a different, more *something* tone from previous seasons that I really appreciated.
Ooo ooo!! TV: The first two seasons of Insecure are on Hulu. Also, Veep on Hulu. Um.... Black Mirror. All the Housewives. If you haven’t at least teared up lately, This Is Us will get the gears primed. POWER on Hulu. You will rip your hair out, which I mean with your sinus surgery you might wanna take it easy w the…
I don’t knit, crochet, or stitch (have learned but never caught on), but I’m in MN and it’s been near - 20 a couple days in a row recently. It’s downright witchcraft and I’m sick of it. I didn’t leave emy house for two days over xmas break. ⛄🌬️ My 2018 hope is lots of blankets and socks for everyone. 😣
Oh, and I have seen ppl mention Natalie Goldberg, which I remember being assigned to me. But the one I really liked was Bird by Bird by Anne Lamott. If you’ve ever been encouraged to write a “shitty first draft” that’s maybe where the idea came from.
I still cry lol. I even recently asked him over for something completely unrelated to relationship stuff and wound up crying and demanding he explain why he’s so selfish.
Omg I feel like you’re me in a mirrored world somewhere else. My ex don’t care that I’m gone, while I have been like: alone again, naturally, or I’ll find someone at 80, SO I need to just fucking accept it (😐😩😞👵🏽). I got a new job after going out in a blaze of my manager’s passive aggressiveness (after which…
I didn’t know this! Fascinating, and I believe it. Humans are very organic creatures. It gets brushed over w medical advances and superhuman achievements, but really were just cells and tissue.
That’s ok because there’s a huge decades-old Kmart that splits a major city street in my area such that you cannot drive straight down the street, you have to go several blocks around it. It’s a dilapidated Kmart that I have many childhood memories of, but I’m confident in saying it has outlived it’s usefulness.
They probably already are.
