Well nudity should be treated like it's no big deal but there is also no other scenes that operate like that in the rest of the series. The sec also is important to show how hollow hooking up with this guy was. She gave into him based on the attention she got but didn't even like the guy as illustrated by all of that

As I've also said later on in this thread, after getting past the pilot, it turned out to be a much different show than I thought on first glance.

There are many ways to be pandering and I don't feel like trying to explain myself any further. That's not from a place of being defensive. I don't know how clearly I can be.

I admit I wrote my comment after first impressions. I'm all the way up to episode 9 and the show feels much more like a show full of people trying to make something happen. They just happen to be women. Just based on the first episode I was feeling like it was going in a different direction.

I'm not just talking about this show I'm talking about the industry is attacking women led productions. And there is a way to write it without it feeling like anvil dropping.

I know this is going to get trampled on in these parts but I had to roll my eyes about the opening bits about how hard it is for a female actor etc. It has nothing to do with that not being true and it did play various motivations. But, just in general terms, I feel like every movie or tv show has to come in with the

Those were two difgetent bad decisions. Not one that happened together. The video tape ones had quality episode. The hour longs were general trash though. That's sounds about right for the next season of ahs. I wish we could get a genuine anthology series on regular tv. Not this change settings every season with most

Well he is one of lgbtq community so it makes sense.

I can't even begin to give a shit anymore.

Oh fuck this place. For every decent conversation I've had on here there are dozens where people rather mock or insult instead of understand.

What is with this comments section? I was clearly mocking a certain of people like the OP alluded to and somehow, people are taking me seriously or just ignoring what the start of the thread was about. Fuck it. Not worth the hassle.

What is up with people flipping everything I say around here? People championed Wonder Woman without even seeing the movie for the same reason people will champion Black Panther. Because they want it to be great. They love and crave the representation. Nothing wrong with that. And HE was comparing the two things not

I didn't say they were mainstream I said they exist.

I didn't even think this needed to be explained. Didn't know this thread was going on. I was talking about and mocking the subsection of people that can turn anything into a negative or can't tolerate other opinions.

Forget I said anything here. My point was missed. My bad.

I laughed at one of my friends. He liked wonder woman but didn't think it was oh my god the best ever. He was about to say calm down but then he was like fuck it. Let them have this because come February you won't be able to tell me this isn't the greatest movie ever. Sight unseen. Just makes me laugh. At least he

This is all need to see or know about the movie. Holla at me in February. I never feared it would be a bad movie but I'm just as game as ever after the trailer.

It's not rebooting. It's an American adaptation. Which doesn't make the time thing an issue.

I'm perfectly able to catch what's going on. I DON'T CARE about what's going on. It's not interesting to me. I'm not a hardcore lynch fan which seems to be why people are so over the top in love with this. But, either way, I don't mind taking your time and things of that nature. It's simply that what I'm watching on

My god this shit is a slog. Just not enjoyable at all. I think may just revisit it some time down the line. So many people loving this is just something I will never understand. I respect it. To each their own. But, man. Not for me.
