Yes, definitely. Not familiar with FIA WEC rules, but this is certainly not a good idea -especially with where that filler is located. For us, the fuel is the first to connect and the last to disconnect - but we do tires simultaneously too.

No problem at all. I will email him too tonight.
It looks like you can send Travis an email directly - just go the "About" page. Let me know if you email him, because I probably will too just to show support for you...who knows if it works.
I think that's a fantastic idea! You should petition the Jalop guys to do this. Let me know if you need support.
Definitely a man with great impact on the automotive landscape of today. Only a handful of individuals can claim such a feat. I am sad that his passing is mentioned only as an aside here on Jalopnik - I think proper respect would dictate a separate article for this.
Owned it! #3605 out of only 5000 ever made. Sadly, had to sell it when the govt screwed up my student loans for one semester. Still miss it - I grew up in a GM family, but have since been a Ford guy.
Agreed. If they really want to reduce the average age, they would need to make something like a FRS/BRZ - fun to drive but not many frills. Totally not their image.
Parker, I completely agree with you. I'd be all for the idea of forcing people to drive Cup cars to keep them engaged in their driving. (Some of the road racing drivers I work with that have driven a Cup car say that it basically tries to kill you the entire way down the straight. I have since gained complete respect…
Patrick, thank you for putting together this article. For those willing to listen (and not just go on believing what they think they know), it should serve as a very solid wake up call. We need to do something about this growing gap between rich and poor. If people want cheap, good cars, then maybe it needs to…
Agreed. I think there are some technically sound bits in here, and not just green bashing - but I'm always suspicious when I see big money involved.
I second US Airways. I'm typically a Delta flyer, but as much I think they suck, there are far worse out there. In my last experience with US Air a few months ago, they never offered so much as a water in 1st class and it took 11 hours to go from Rochester, NY to Detroit. Had they just told me right off it was going…
To me, $326k is too low and $32mil is too high. Instead of negotiating, I guess Tesla would rather pay somewhere between these two numbers for attorneys to fight it out in Chinese courts. Seems exactly the opposite of what the Big 3 do. Like an inverse law of gravity - lawyers float to the top in any occasion.
The Titan has always been marketed as a 1/2 ton, but in truth, it can carry 3/4 ton. At the time when the Titan debuted (2004), it was the only 1/2 ton to do this. Since that time, manufacturers have been upping their numbers. With pickup trucks, it's all a pissing contest and who's got the biggest schlong. Fact…
The devices on the wheels are speed sensors. When tuning/developing systems like ABS and ESP, you need a reference for what the actual speed of the wheel is so that you can compare it with what the system thinks it is. They allow you to better judge system performance.
Thank you FMC for not making it look like a Fusion or Taurus!!! Thank you! thank you!
My only complaint with my Titan is the crummy fuel economy with my 10,000lb enclosed car trailer - about 7 MPG on a good day. In comparison, I drove a Class 8 (semi) truck last year that was getting 11 MPG with a half load (35,000lbs). The diesel will be a very welcome option for me after a DPF delete. I just hope…
The Titan is already a 3/4 ton by the numbers. My 4x4 King Cab is rated for 1680lbs. In all honesty, it squats really bad at that weight - probably because it has the best ride and handling of any pickup truck. Nissan's trick was to build a truck that was 500lbs lighter than any of its competitors. Which is also the…
I am all for a lighter, smaller Mustang. I love the idea of smaller turbo engines. I just hope what is pictured here is wrong: it looks waaaay to much like a Fusion. Car manufacturers have to learn to give up this stupid idea of "branding" that inevitably causes all their stuff to look the same. They don't realize…
That color needs to go away...unless it has "Gerber" and a baby printed on the side. My only consolation is that now I get to hear germans trying to pronounce 'phoenix.'
