I have to agree she was great in the Hunger Games and great in Winters Bone. She really needs to go the Reese Witherspoon route and produce her own movies. 

I think she can be absolutely magical and natural, depending on the role. TBH the best work I’ve seen from her was in the Hunger Games. But those aren’t Oscar movies, so she got the Oscar for Silverlinings Bullshit.

I understand what you are saying here, but you are missing a key part of the monologue. What a lot of fat girls experience is that men DO find them attractive but don't want to date them. Have sex with them, yes, but be seen in public with them, no. THAT is what is so hurtful to a lot of people.
