It hasn’t held up as well as Young Frankenstein or Blazing Saddles, but it is still amusing.

There is definitely a certain resemblance to Richard E Grant, which is what I assumed when I watched the episode, but it’s not entirely clear who it is. Part of me is now wondering if it is actually Michael Jayston and they’ve included The Valeyard in the line up.

I really liked this episode BECAUSE it was classic no-frill Doctor Who. Historical period + Cheesy Aliens. Everything else was gravy.
