Turns out Fargo were the friends we made along the way.

“A man has a code”?
That wasn’t what I was expecting at all, and I loved it.
I wondered that. It would be ironic, given the blatant eucharist symbolism, right down to the way she offered it, that it would remove eternal life.
That last scene was an amazing mixture of comedy, heart, and terror. Wayne clanking what looks like a fanta bottle into Oles fanta was maybe the funniest moment of the season.
The Yellowjackets cast is terrific, but Juliette Lewis and Christina Ricci working together was lightning in a bottle & the show will I fear struggle to replicate that energy without her
I liked the minimalist exposition that filled in the back story for all the players. It makes them feel like people with actual lives and not just props for the protagonists. Like that little bit with Leah about “that day” that told you: She was Danvers’ stepdaughter, not her bio-daughter, that her dad died in a DUI…
That whole “skipping parts of back canon that I don’t like” doesn’t seem to work well. They tried it with Terminator.
I cannot describe the relief this makes me feel.
Champion of MST3K and a heckuva nice guy, Tom was a class act and will be missed.
In the interest of representation, maybe we should only allow disgraced actors to play people with similar or worse histories. Majors can play Rodman or Bill Cosby, and maybe we can let Kevin Spacey star in the Harvey Weinstein story.
wow...to be too unwholesome to play Dennis freaking Rodman...that’s an accomplishment
It’s odd that when someone that’s gone through a vicious sexual assault and discusses it so that others know that they aren’t alone, that certain MAGA conservatives feel the need to pipe up and try to pull the person down.
Bravo to this. She writes well, clearly and compassionately and exemplifies how women don’t just downplay but downgrade their own experience.
And the more women/people hear this process elucidated -
“I tried all the ways I knew to get out of it. I tried to make jokes, to be charming, to set a boundary, to reason, to say…
It’s always nice when actors turn out to be as awesome as the heroes they portray.
Jesus 7 seasons? I swear it doesn’t feel like Bates Motel ended all that long ago.
That's not impossible. Her son dying probably was quite a lot to bear. I know a lot of people from Johnny Cash to Yogi Bera to Debbie Reynolds didn't live long after someone they are very closed to goes. Well I can see this story being its own sad Irish song one day.
I thought it would be a certainty she took her own life, given her years of struggles with mental health. And yet, the fact she died of natural causes, almost seems worse to take. Because she suffered so much. Really makes you believe one can die of a broken heart.
While it doesn’t take any of the sadness away, at least I’m glad she didn’t harm herself. RIP.
Im really sorry for assuming it was something else. Bit more tragic, powering through life and so much tragedy only for the human body to decide it could go no further.
