Awww. Aside from the Truth-gymnastics she normally plays, I kind of feel bad for making fun of her for what she’s wearing.

I think it has to do with poor rational thinking/logic. People recently (or maybe always) have a tendency to think in either/or situations, I.e. “One side wants abortion; the other side doesn’t want abortion.”
I’m going, but I have no idea how I’d find y’all
This is how Democracy is done though. If you have a better idea, let us know. We can’t all Twitter blather at 3 in the morning
Well, we care, and we are sizable. Still, I hear what you are saying. One week after the election when most of the media were running news stories on cabinet picks and conflicts of interest, i went over to Fox News and they had a story about (i kid you not) Mexican rapists.
I don’t think that’s what’s happening at all. I remember those diversity classes when I was a kid, where one race was a goal and anyone wanting to mention different treatment was called a racist. Now we’re actually talking about how black people and other minority groups are treated differently- in the media and by…
An accurate description
“It’s just locker room talk!”
AAAARRRRGGGGHHHHH GRRRRRRRR
Listen, I am no Trump fan... And I am definitely not a Saldana fan - but we know from that escapade with the Nina Simone tribute that she doesn’t know how to speak publicly in a way that she will be accepted. She’s not a writer or a speach writer, or even a scholar on these subjects, so her ideas aren’t very…
Whoah, sorry to butt in to your debate with Annie - and please keep in mind I don’t take your side of theirs or vice versa- but wouldn’t your side be the pearl-clutchery side of things? I mean, Annie is talking about essentially boycotting, and you’re recommending worst case scenario.
It’s about the American vision in the world. It’s SUPPOSED to be something like Star Trek - settling disputes and spreading peace and democracy around the world. Albeit there are ulterior motives, but it is an ideal. A peaceful and diverse coalition of various nationalities and creeds fighting the good fight together.…
Grrr... and the Republican Party calls themselves the “Party of morals”. We’ll just go holier-than-thou ourselves right out of relevance... Ooops, I forgot!
They’re all a bunch of corporate fitness bots.
God, why do they DOOOOOO that!!!!
Agreed. Basic wear manufactured in the states and, apparently, under very good working conditions. People wanted to work at their factory in LA. I read that later when they opened a factory in Mexico, it was the same, paying way above the local going wage.
Not necessarily. She could have been treating Grind it out like a phrasal verb (which it is), in which case both “ground it out” and “grinded it out” are acceptable. I actually prefer her “grinder it out” to “ground it out” since phrasal verbs are, by definition less formal.
Wha??? You mean the electoral college when you say “States votes”, right? Because I was talking about the popular vote... and you’re right - 2.8m, not 3... i was rounding up. But I REALLY don’t get your statement about CA.
When Clinton’s numbers came in and it was 3million and growing, the “Trumpgrets” crowd numbers are mounting too. 61 million may have voted for him, but the numbers who wish they hadn’t are coming in...
Well, I am NOT a “million years old” (only 39), but I agree with you.
