First, yay! Whoopi ought to be in ALL the comedies. She’s a great comedic actress and a not-so-good talk-show host.

He's the same age as my sister. She's four years older than me. I was in my first year at university when this aired.

Yeah, that’s not what I read at all. I read Daisy as flirting as much as she could - laughing loudly at WHATEVER he said to get him to feel comfortable, and him being relatively chill while still not knowing what he was supposed to be doing... All while both are TRYING LIKE HELL to be charming. Chemistry? Not so much.

Blhhhh... Woulda been the worst sex ever. Their chemistry is so off and awkward

I’m not even agreeing with y’all cause I'm large. I'm small, but at AA, it's totally unpredictable if I'll be a small, medium or large. Stuff is just cut so weird there. AND at H&M!

Good doctors aren't usually plastic surgeon. Plastic surgery is the hair salon of the jet set which the middle class is slowly getting on board with, spending thousands of hard-come-by dollars. Plastic surgeons often won't even do actual medically necessitated surgery unless there's $$$ in it. They're disgusting

I mean, as long as they’re not wearing like a fake nose or an *actual* tallit, or tefillin with the prayer inside or whiting out their skin, I don’t have a problem. You’re right though, wearing an imitation of an Orthodox Jew and calling it rabbi is pretty ignorant

I used to have a disgusting racist friend who would have disagreed with you. Emphasis on “used to.”

If you can’t tell the differences between statements such as: her cancer screenings were clean.” And “Her blood pressure is ...” with the over effusive shit written above, then I don’t know what I can do to help you understand.

It's not about her being 15, it's BECAUSE OF HER PARENTS!

SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE!!!

Right... and I just want to know what the men’s options were. I bet it was ‘chubby’ and ‘fat’. They’ve even taken accurate descriptors away from women!

Typical size, though, wouldn’t be accurate either as what is ‘typical’ for that region varies.

I made a comment to that end. The more we use euphemisms to talk about women’s bodies, the more we cloak them in shame. First, we don’t talk about men’s bodies as “curvy”, we say he’s ‘plump’, or ‘pudgy’ or ‘fat’. Has nothing to do with his sexiness either.

I think that depends on where you live. On US coasts, Europe and Russia, South America and maybe some parts of Africa, 12-14 may very well be plus sized.

God, I hate that. Not all fat people are “curvy”! I have a friend who’s fat, and she insists on people calling her fat. She believes (as do I) that the more we hide descriptors in euphemisms, the more shame we perpetuate.

BTW, is it just me or does Katy Perry look like a plastic gumby doll.

Yeah, it’s a shame she chose so lame a launch pad for a very, very good point.

Oh, don't read into it too much... Not so much a strongly held belief as it was an arguing point against the unhinged HilaryForEternalDictator

Ha! I hope so!
