While I completely agree that 150kw laser will not vaporize fog and rain (1,500mw isn’t going to either), the tea kettle comparison is a bit misleading. There is a pretty big difference between delivering that much power in a spot about the size of a millimeter and a hot plate several inches across.

I know some folks think Jay is corny as hell, but his concussion protocol bit was solid. That’s natural comedy, there, folks.

Yikes, that sucks about that car. It’s a piece of history.

BUT WHY THE FUCK DO THAT ON A SPOT THAT ISN’T SMOOTH!

Goddammit guys, that should have been at a drag strip, not some bullshit on the infield of a circle track.

Oh, and if an ‘09 Corolla is the worst car you’ve ever driven, you’ve lived a charmed life.

Now playing

Traffic sucks, so why not start your morning off with some music? You provide the toast and we’ll provide the jams.

I was thinking about that, but didn’t want to get into too much detail for a joke.

...and of course, the top of the U.S. Constitution. (Can you guess what their favorite part of that document is?)

“First you have to learn the rules of the game. Then you have to play it better than anyone else.”

Two words: paper maps.

Torque in lbs/ft is power (in bhp) * (5252/rpm) so power at high revs gives you a low torque figure.

Hmm. Same sealing issues as a Wankel though, and the same lubrication problem. Despite what they’re saying, I think it will be just as “dirty” as a Wankel, and have the same fuel efficiency constraints due to the high surface to volume ratio of the “combustion chamber/cylinder.” You can’t really beat a round piston in

You know who needs this? Nobody, thats who. Its about time we stop making obscene obsolete monstrosities like this and move on as a society.

You say that like it’s a bad thing.

That’s the best way to travel through Texas.

The only answer.

Shake that booty...

Discounted and de-contented is a thing I'm into in general. Cars have too much crap on them these days.

Never buy someone else’s project...especially if they can’t tell you all of what went into said project.
