People don’t believe it when I say Sansa is my favorite character (mostly her portrayal in the books, but Sophie Turner is amazing). Yes, Arya is a badass (and also a great character), but you know what you’re getting with Arya. And you know what you’re going to continue to get with Arya.

I like Sansa after I figured out Ned and Catelyn raised her to be a lady. Arya is an exception. Sansa has had to discovered what her parents taught her is a lie and try to find her own way.

The Telltale Games Game of Thrones is amazing for this. It’s easy to misinterpret Sansa’s inaction as weakness, but when you play the Sansa-like character you see that she literally has no good options. While playing, you quickly realize that Sansa’s inaction and attempts to `fly under the radar’ are the smartest

You really ought to have read some of these comments before you voiced your opinion. Your understanding of teaching as a career is entirely insufficient.

I hear you about the struggle.

Maybe, but I answered it with another question, which just leads to more questions, and commas,

Private schools often pay less, because those teachers aren’t usually in a union.

No. I actually meant ‘moxie.’

you can't make that judgement based on the disapproval of one kind of weird prank.

Well, without wanting to get in the weeds on it I think it’s kind of fair to say that Sanders’ entire campaign is again based on the idea that the reasonableness you’re talking about isn’t actually working either. That all it does is embolden Republican obstructionism because their worst case scenario becomes a

For me, the fact that he explicitly states he will support Obama’s pick is what gives me that impression. With the GOP already talking up the possibility of lame duck approval, it seems to me Bernie is very aware of the politics of the moment. No one believes he would pick a centrist himself, given the option, it’d

President Obama is a centrist in a lot of his policies. Is this a politically calculated nomination? Absolutely. Designed to make the Senate GOP look worse than they already look. But he is also consistent with many of the president’s positions.

There’s no room for liberal voices among the Democrats, until after the election, anyway. Happens literally every election season. Then, after the elections are over, we wonder why social democracy hasn’t kicked in yet.

in these threads:

He’s not insulting him. He’s running for President on a platform that’s decidedly MORE Progressive than that of the man who we thought was a Progressive President.

Are you kidding? Hillary should say the same thing - it basically further holds the GOP’s feet to the fire by taking away the chance for them to approve Garland in a lame duck session if they don’t like who won the presidential election.

correct me if i’m wrong but it seems as though he was saying that if he, bernie, was somehow elected in november and there was no confirmation yet, he would ask obama to withdraw the nomination before leaving office so he could pick someone new. which would be in his power. as new president.

Seems fair. Wouldn’t mind if Clinton came out with something similar.

Meanwhile, the GOP’s like “Garland’s fine and we’ll probably ok with him as soon as Clinton is elected POTUS kthxbai.” :|

I have to chime in here to offer a different point of view regarding DC’s board books. Taken out of context that image looks damning as does the way the author portrays the book from which it came. However, that specific book (which we own and our son loves) it not about superpowers but rather “opposites.” Each page
