In my experience women (and I) say “I feel like” when we are worried people may disagree, so we hedge in order to subtly silence ourselves. Men seem to use “I feel like” when they say something they know will be offensive so they can get away with it, following up with, “I’m just sayin’”

I think these feelings boil down that we think of our identity and feminity in relation to other women, instead of a part of our individual identity.

Talking about Sansa’s political strength makes me think under better circumstances she and Tyrion don’t make such a bad pair. Unlikely there would ever be any romance, but she’s got more social grace than he does and he has a better understanding of human nature—not a bad team.
