Technically only about 17% of Kentuckians voted for him, so our state is not entirely made up of dip shits. Most people just didn’t vote at all.

Every time Bevin rants about poor people needing to get some “skin in the game” to earn their medicaid I want to punch his throat.
The Democratic party ran from Kynect as fast as they could, to avoid associating with Obama—which completely backfired on them. They need to stand up for the people of Kentucky and stand up for their own policies. It’s absurd that they did not toot their own horns over Kynect. Now, we have Democratic representatives…
He’s a rich businessman from New Hampshire.
He won because no Democrats voted because the Democratic party of Kentucky ran a rock. Actually, rocks have more personality than Conway. Also, they ran away from their own party and the national success story that is (was) Kynect.
UK definitely got off better than other public universities.
And our public universities will have to compete for the same pool of money? And somehow he says he will be increasing job training...?
In Kentucky? Yes. Look at the comments on his Facebook page. I used to defend my state, but damn... these people are making it hard.
Because Kentucky democrats have been running form the success of Kynect because they don’t want to be connected to Obama. Idiots.

I feel like if I saw a family getting off the plane for some reason I would likely wonder, “huh, I wonder what’s wrong. I hope they’re OK.” If the kid was having an allergic reaction severe enough to force them off the plane I would probably think, “What is happening? Is that kid OK?”
I think it was more: “I don’t have time to deal with you 19% right now, because there is a current Supreme Court case coming up and I need to talk to the people that give a shit so they will pay attention and speak out against these laws.”
Seriously. The reason he’s talking about it is because there is an upcoming Supreme Court decision that deals with the access issues he’s covering. He doesn’t typically just randomly talk about issues, it’s always within a context of something people need to pay attention to NOW.
I’m just not placing all my hopes on electing a woman president on Hillary Clinton. I think it’s doing a disservice to women in this country to say that she’s our only hope to have a woman president in the next two decades.
