They (police) could always call the listed number for the address. Although they should always take it seriously.

Ah I missed the "killed" part, but otherwise the information Radley Balko is informative. Other commenters have posted authoritative source links (and others less so) on accidental swat deaths. I tried earlier but none of my post seems to have made it here (pending or the database couldn't handle this many

Thanks for this. Good relevant, accurate and reliable info. You get the librarian authoritative stamp of approval.

*sarcasm*? :-)

Sorry if doublepost. Comment system seems to be borked (or backlogged) for me.

I know it should be obvious but *sarcasm*?

There has already been an injury:

Have you ever shot a real gun? It's more difficult when you're engaging an armed threat from a distance. Plus bullets fragment and schrapnel goes everywhere.

My wife has a new friend who recently moved back to their home country in the similar situation. The problem with "demanding" a contingency is they may rescind the job offer.

If you cook/bake it's kind of a necessity.

While it's great that someone as high level as Newell listens to the customer it sets a bad precedent for support teams in general. I don't know anything about how Steam support is run (I avoid buying from Steam) but I imagine they're understaffed and resource starved as with every other outfit I've been with.

I'm the same way as you, I'm not a huge fan of switching cars every 5 years but that's because I was raised to be frugal (i'm not super cheap enough to be like my dad). Sometimes you cannot pick the best quality car that'll last you 10 years as so many random things happen aside from defects and awful mechanics (i.e.

When I used to drive manual, people would subtly imply I was a control freak without getting to know me. Those that bothered to, knew I did not really care if you gave me tea in a wine glass.

No, I think you had it worse. I would go bat$hit crazy dealing with Dumbarton bridge, Milpitas, Mountain View, Cupertino, IKEA shoppers (east palo alto) and Sunnyvale commuters. Luckily my last place gave us flex hours and I chose 6am-3pm work hours. That meant I could get to work in 20 minutes over the Bay Bridge

Back in 2012, I was getting a new car and was excited about the DCT until I actually drove it.

Speaking of which does anybody actually like the Ford DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) system?

It's a force of habit since I work in a security conscious environment. Alternatively I suppose I could subscribe to the blog via RSS and check everyday. But then I would never get and work done.

I was in the same boat for about a month. I make it a policy to check 1password blog every time a major vulnerability gets announced.

Although it's past they sometimes have sales. Last year they had a Heartbleed sale and you could get the apps for 50% off.
