Perhaps, however in that video the racing starts at Cinemark at I-10 and TX-99 in Katy, then they race down I-10 west towards Sealy, and then down 99 to Richmond. Racing down 99 like that is stupid, is a 2 lane, busy freeway, through congested and busy Katy, racing past houses and neighborhoods, with no guard rails.

The one in the video is a yellow first-gen Superleggera. The one in the wreck pic is an orange second-gen convertible.

There are a lot of high end Exotics doing a lot of street racing.
I'm guessing that it has something to do with that. and that would be why no plates.

Who says you need to fix it? At that (obviously imaginary) price it becomes a great parts car for an idiotic awesome project. It doesn't look like the rear end took significant damage, so there should be a nice V10 and six speed transmission somewhere in the middle ready to be dropped in to the bitchin'est Fiero…
