I’ve told her as much. It’s the soreness that discourages her, from what she says anyways. She is such an oxymoron of a person, tough as nails in an argument but can’t bear the aches of working out.

It’s funny, getting tattooed doesn’t faze her pain threshold, but muscle soreness is too much.

The media still paints the skin and bone standard for women in a desirable light. Which is why many women who are not small and dainty can feel pressured to look the same.

It feels good? As a human I stretch when I’m waking up from being tired, almost naturally. I don’t do it with perfect form or to loosen my muscles for a workout, just cuz it feels right.
