Sounds like you should have bought out your current lease?

Sat in one at the LA auto show and couldn’t get past one thing... the interior. Why does luxury = piano black? All I saw was everybody else’s grimy finger prints that sat in it before me. No thanks.

I mean the white cars in the leading picture do have the premium spots...

Want one now! Unfortunately, like the Monkey, they will be hard to find and marked up. Was quoted $6200 for a yellow monkey in the LA area and even more for a Trail125 :(. They seem to be so popular, not sure why they don’t bring more over?

Which one of you bastards has the brackets for my Jeep's roof rack that I ordered 8mo ago?!

Californian here and a rider (Yamaha TW200)! I'm 100% behind lane filtering BUT not lane splitting. One of the most dangerous legal practices allowed! Impossible for motorists to always see what's behind them when there is too much happening up front. Not to mention hogs with ape hangers are always trying to squeeze

What's wrong with celebrating a model that's been around for 70yrs? Very few car runs like this left. And it's still a performance bargain.

Agreed! I guess by this logic a Toyota Camry V6 is better than a Porsche Boxster because it has 1hp more. Dumb Jr. High logic.

Would like to know top speed? I have a Ruckus and it’s a blast around the streets of LA. However, this engine seems like it would be a perfect fit for it. My top speed is 37mph. Definitely a momentum bike... but this is probably the sweet spot. Too bad I like the looks of my Ruckus more.

Lol... I  forgot that truck bumpers used to be optional!

Any we all wonder why cars cost so much...

My first car was a manual 4spd 1972 Mercury Capri. We had many steep hills in the area. I was shown that when stopped on a hill to apply the emergency brake then slowly release it as you slip the clutch and apply the gas to keep from rolling backwards. I got pretty damn good at it and it worked reversing up a hill

I just turned in my ‘19 Corvette Stingray 1LT “LEASE” 11mo early because there was $13.5K in positive equity! I’ve leased cars most of my driving years and this is the first time I’ve ever been paid to turn it. I took that money and bought a used low mileage (57K mi) 2005 Lexus ES330 and still had plenty left over.

2013 VW Jetta base, 5spd, 2.0L, 115HP, 2800lbs. Had to take an inclined on-ramp to work everyday and plan that accordingly. If it was hot turn off the air conditioner and never have 4 people in it... ever. That car was downright dangerous on LA freeways. Never again. Traded it in for a Challenger R/T! Lol

Had a Volt and plugged it in every day. My commute was 5mi shorter than the range so very rarely did the ICE kick in. However when the lease was up we turned it in and didn’t replace it. It was quiet. Cheap to maintain. Was a perfect commuter car. But damn was it boring. Not quite ready to fully commit to them yet.

Thank you. Well said. Someone who gets it. My wife and I do the same thing and my dad is old school and just can’t grasp the concept. We like new cars. Our leases are 18mo apart which is awesome because every 18mo we get a brand new car. Usually I get sports car and she gets a SUV. Always under warranty. Usually all

Pretty sure that 20" wheels are only on the Sahara... 17" are for real wheeling.

I had a ‘03 Dakota V6 5-spd (manual). Great truck! Was the perfect size.

I want that scooter bad!

I would have liked to see at least an analog tach/speedo... guess I’m the minority.
