What’s so hard about putting a base C7 Stingray on the same dyno? As it currently stands it is all speculation over the results. Need apples to apples here.

My dad still has his first car. When he was 16 he worked for a body shop. A customer left behind a ‘40 Merc and the owner said he could have it if he got it running. He fixed it and drove it until it died about 30yrs ago. He recently retired and decided to pull it out of the garage and restore it. 4yrs later this is

I don’t know, but I actually found it interesting and have wondered the same thing about this and other poorly designed interfaces.

Bought a brand new ‘05 Corolla when our kids were small. Roomy, comfortable, easy to drive, great gas mileage. Fast forward 14yrs and 150K mi later and one of those ‘small’ kids ain’t so small any more and drives it to college/work now.

It came with a top?! ;)

Always wanted a Corvette and now in the financial situation to do so. C7 looks amazing to me. I’m 48yrs old (not a boomer!) and now it’s time to treat myself. Went to the local Chevy dealer in Burbank, CA last month and found one calling my name w/Z51 package. Sticker was $62K got it for $51K. Very little haggling.

Agreed. C7 owner here which I think looks amazing. But I would be curious to see a design exercise on the C8 using round tail lamps.

My commute in LA changed when I moved and driving my Challenger R/T 6spd no longer was fun in the grind. I was probably averaging about 15mpg in stop/go. I reluctantly traded her in (sniff, sniff) for a great deal on a Volt.

Yet most on here pine for the good old days... cars of yesteryear... when cars were more basic and haven’t strayed from their roots...

Their lineup might be old... but for some reason is still one of my favorite lineups. I just like their statement. Big, bold, loud. Works for me! Have had a ‘15 Jeep Grand Cherokee, ‘14 Challenger R/T, ‘13 Durango R/T, ‘13 Avenger. Scat Pack is next! (or maybe a used Viper)
