Watched it live on youtube this weekend - there was a segment of the broadcast after the race finished that showed a compelling replay with audio that indicated a botched gear change. No one’s fault really.  Shame Werner got slapped with a penalty as it was some of the best racing that took place this weekend.

Certainly not last year when the majority of the races were in Europe and started between 8-9 in the morning EST.  Super easy to be up by 7:30 and be sitting down for race start once the dogs are walked and coffee is brewed.

I’m going to the hardware store to buy a hammer so I can pound my temperamental sim racing rig into submission and finally get back into iRacing and Assetto Corsa.  So annoyed.

I’m saying he STAYED. I don’t think he ever left after the final race. So this travel shaming in the article is all a little weird considering the context in which he was there in the first place, and his personal aversions to partying in general and gathering during the pandemic.

Is it really that unreasonable for him to have been near where the last race was held and testing was scheduled to take place?  It’s not like he’s a documented party animal or anything either, for all we know from information readily available (or lack thereof) he could have gotten it shopping for groceries or…

I didn’t even bother last year.  We have more predicted snowfall forecasted this year but the temperatures haven’t dropped enough yet to warrant swapping over to my winter set.

Lukewarm take, but with the exception of Pinball Wizard, Tommy is not a good album.
