Considering the Navy navigates vast oceans and rough seas, you’d think they’d be better at handling streams.

For me the issue with the Series X is I could only put it upright on my entertainment center and it would probably have to go behind the TV. The PS5 is bigger in ways that will still allow it to fit on the shelves in the center, if I have it on its side. There’s no way I’m fitting the series X in there sideways.

I always find it funny that people will die on the “Rose was actually a great character” hill. KTM is awesome, Rose Tico was awful.

Count yourself among the lucky ones. I lost my launch 360 to the RRoD, because of course I did. My launch 60gig PS3 — read: best PS3, RIP — caught the YLoD, which while not as prevalent as the RRoD, was a bigger issue than people realize. Had that repaired, but it happened again. The thermal paste was just not having

If you look there at the side of the PS4, you’ll understand why I feel like consoles really should be looking more like mini PCs than they do. I’m not a Microsoft guy, but goddamn if this big ass pillar isn’t a breath of fresh air after 15 years of losing consoles to cooling issues.

I have no idea how I went through all those playthroughs of DA:O thinking Duncan was a good man when in fact he’s the biggest dick in the entire series who is not Solas.

I already said Iron Bull was the exception, but let’s look at the others:

One other thing to keep in mind about Duncan: He’s in the middle of an apocalyptic crisis that few others believes is really that bad. The only way to stop it is with Gray Wardens, and he needs all of the help he can get.

Yeah, this resonates with me much more.

I rather disagree with Mortal Dicta’s assessment. Maybe they felt like having the world limited to basically a single city made an impact, but for me, DA1 did that, and better. Because even a fellow warden says that, if you fail, it doesn’t matter. The other wardens from other

if you don’t have daddy issues you probably weren’t looking for someone to be the invincible hero and save the day and make everything right.

I always have, and always will love the original game (DA:O) the best, as I was born & raised on all ye olde Baldur’s gate/Planescape/Idewind Dale games of yore, and I LOVE the depth and difficulty(?) of the combat/spell mechanics. (Plus, you know, the characters were reasonably well-written, and the areas were pretty

DA2 mechanically and aesthetically is bad and you should feel bad for liking it. :)

I remember how hurt Alistair looked when I had him executed so I could marry Queen Anora.

The guy in the white shirt is Tony Burton who played Duke (who becomes Rocky’s trainer for the Drago fight).

In response to a fan on Twitter, Dwayne Johnson confirmed Hawkgirl will not appear in Black Adam “due to a complicated story”—though the character’s absence “opened up the door for another actress to come in and crush it as Cyclone.”

So I guess that is different than the less than complicated story about why Hawkgirl was dropped from Legends of Tomorrow after s1: because their version was terrible

‘Hawkgirl’ ‘Complicated story’ - well that part tracks with tradition at least.

All I'm thinking about still after The Batman trailer is how Robert Pattinson doesn't look like Bruce Wayne: he looks like Terry McGinnis and I am now more frustrated that we don't get a live action Batman Beyond.

Yeah, Snyder’s oeuvre isn’t what I would call stellar, but Dawn of the Dead is not only his best movie, it’s legitimately good. It trades the commentary on consumerism and society that people love about the Romero original for a more coherent, more exciting and overall tighter narrative.

Or maybe, you know, he really is a sexual predator.
