RIP :(

The AV Club has unfortunately reached the point where it is almost an ironic commentary about its own existence - a fan based website populated by writers that seriously loathe fans and who tell them how much they loathe them in almost every article they write. It sort of makes sense that articles that used to get

The offical AV Club party line is that The Last Jedi was an amazing movie that revitalized the Star Wars franchise, and if you didn’t like it you are a sexist CHUD who deserves to rot in your parents’ basement for all eternity.

Not gonna lie...this to me looks like just about every streamer I’ve ever seen to the point where it doesn’t even look like a parody.  Like if somebody didn’t tell me that was from SNL I would completely believe it was a real person on Twitch.  I don’t understand the massive popularity of this at all, and it depresses

Isn’t it just redundant, aren’t they just all terrible twitch streamers.

“SNL last night was surreal. Tom Hank was on hand to be the virtual host [. . .]”

Look i’ll say it. It annoys the crap out of me that I walk into the museum during the day and the proprietor is always SLEEPING on the job! And when I go to wake him up he flips out like I did something wrong - Look Mr. Owl i get it, you’re a night time person. . .Maybe find a new job or hiring an intern to be the

Well first of all, I warned you not to scroll down here! Tons of people in Europe and Australia have been playing the game for over a week and some have even asked me to give them a place on Kotaku to talk about the ending, which is worthy of discussion. So here is that place.

I’m so damn confused...

The M-W link says that the verb form first appeared in 1563, and the noun in 1616, so I don’t think we can blame the zoomers for that one.

I don't refer to women as females without a clinical motive, but as a matter of grammar, you're obviously wrong. Female is both an adjective and a noun.

Yep.  Personally I just bought it today after seeing this article.  I’ve been waffling in grabbing it for a couple years now.

Right, I wouldn’t rub my shirt on other people, but I wouldn’t necessarily treat it any differently if I’m already sick. We’re not recommending that people immediately wash their clothes when returning from a grocery trip. I’m wondering why the mask is any different.

I’d argue that the trucks most people buy are capable of “doing everything”, but they do it poorly and at a higher cost. They don’t have as much interior space as a van or SUV, and a 5.5ft bed is nearly useless for hauling stuff. The cost is what still amazes me most.

Come on dude, do you actually not realize that all these ‘libs’ understand trucks are needed for some work? Can you not understand that in addition to that fact, the majority of big trucks are bought by people who just want to look cool and tough? That’s what us high-horse-riders are pointing out—that people are so

I’ve got quite a few years of pizza eating under my belt (literally), almost all of which being of the tomato sauce variety, and while I’ve encountered many literally dripping with grease, I’ve never run into one dripping with “juice”.

What kind of pizza are you eating that has “juices”?

Flash totally lives up to its opening credits.
