My biggest gripe about the show is that everyone apparently can drive Warthogs without crashing into a boulder. Not exactly Halo canon in MY household
I see your point. I shouldn’t have assumed the comics knowledge (or more specifically that I implied you lacked it) aspect of my comment. My apologies.
I get you being defensive. You were catching a lot of shit.
I was agreeing with you.
Ohhhh you’ve stumbled into my favorite gripe about Beauty and the Beast. Gaston and the Beast are equally assholes but the rich guy gets years(? The animated movie certainly implies centuries while the live action move implies maybe a decade) to reform his asshole ways while the poor man (Gaston) gets his ass tossed…
Does that mean you are also against the Injustice games, because they are Elseworld tales but cost millions to make?
It’s comments/stories/etc like this that make me realize that my childhood was probably way less middle class than I always assumed.
Who the hell is going to Walmart times a week?

The “shoot your eye out” was 100% the reason I heard when I was a kid for why Lego stopped making the badass cannons that could shoot. Not saying it’s right, but it is something everyone just kinda heard.
Probably most men over 25 have watched them, with their father if nothing else. Stage Coach and liberty valance might be the only two I've enjoyed though.
Isnt she in feast of crows when she tries to hang Brienne?
Re Jordan: he lost the thread after book six, which was the last good one in the series imo. There were great moments after that but the first six were what made the series special. He became more interested in the cash cow than in telling the story.
Honestly, I think my dislike for it comes from the wait for it come out. I plowed through 1-3 in about 2 weeks (high school!) and 4 didn't come out until after college. To wait that long and have the book be what it was was wildly disappointing. I'm sure if I sucked it up and went back through the series now l, I'd…
“I was actually glad that we got to spend some time missing Dany, Jon, and the rest”
Well there you go. If you liked how their entry into Lake Town went from being half a page in the book to like 30 minutes of screentime rather than just getting to the mountain, then those Hobbit movies were made for you
Ihates the Hobbit movies when I saw them in the theater but I finally sucked it up and rewatched part of the extended edition of the first movie (stopped at the disc change) and you’re 100% right that the first hour is really pretty good. It really feels like a return to Middle Earth.
Scottie Pippen grew up dirt poor and was objectively underpaid the entire time he was with the Bulls. Then he lost most of his money in bad real estate deals (which is a first world problem sure, but there’s a reason he was trying to catch on with a team when he was 40). While he should tip better, he definitely…
Who hurt you?
That ps5 is going to be easier to have in front of your tv though. You can lay it forward and most tvs won't be blocked. No way with the series x. I'm not even positive I can fit it in the shelving under my tv
