I mean, something to keep in mind is a) I found those in less than 10 minutes and b) some states that aren't listed could have other gun laws that make that one unnecessary.

I’m really curious what could possibly be happening in a movie violence-wise that would take it out of an R rating. Hostel is R as is any number of any other super violent movies.
I’m not sure I completely follow. There’s a ton of stuff in The Witch that happens in the middle of the movie that make it clear where the line is regarding the supernatural. The ending didn't change that in my opinion.
