Perhaps on your car’s rear window?

The balance of marketing, cost, and profit.

What do you do when the shops don’t do as you request?

My source is the Navy’s machinist’s mate manual. I don’t think beam varieties can be calibrated. Regardless, look at the beam’s flex - one little push/pull will move the beam fairly significantly but it’s not an accurate reading.

Beam torque wrenches are the least accurate. Dial > Click > Beam. Torque wrenches are most accurate in/near the middle of their useful range.

Nothing to worry about. They’re copying Yugo’s GV.

Yes it is. Drove a new GNX briefly owned by a man with a nitrous T-type. His son drove a new GN, also with nitrous.

I’m 5-10, male, and my penis would be glad to see 5-11 you in heels walking my way. :) Those guys are oblivious, unempathetic fools.

I wish we’d meet. I’d love to dance with a taller woman, esp. if she’s in heels.

He said growing up multiple times someone would tell him “you’re cute but you’re too short for me.”

I woulda loved to see a taller woman approach me. A tall woman’s height totally works for this guy.

Do the “We are not responsible...” signs posted in dealers and repair shops mean anything?

Redundant. “Executives” suffices.

A young grandson of a man driving a nice, nearly new Corvette told me “He can afford it, he’s a farmer.” Farmers are paid to not reap harvests. Actually, you and I pay some farmers to not reap their harvests. Money out + higher food prices = more profit for Ford et al. Lots of new trucks in farm country.

“I think retail HR tends to be a little...better?”

I agree. One useful use I foresee with an hour-meter is calculating miles per operating hour. For example, vehicle owners’ manuals often distinguish between normal use and heavy use. “Normal” and “heavy” are qualitative of course. Including run time would make the distinction clear and accurate. If <= x then follow

To iterate an idea I had 20 years ago, why don’t cars have engine hour meters? How can an owner install one?

All the talk about electricity in the article means it’s very grounded - to the ground.
