While there is sometimes a slight improvement in loading times when comparing NVME and SATA SSDs, it’s usually only 1 or 2 seconds (game dependant; for some titles it’s less than a 0.5 second difference).

Yup. I feel pretty lucky that I have reasonable internet where I live (80MB down 20MB up), but just a few miles away at my folks place they can’t get “hardwired” internet (unless you count dialup). They rely on their phones’ 4G connections, which are good, but comparatively expensive. High costs coupled with data caps…
True, but this time they’re giving people the option of always-online, not forcing everyone into the same boat.
Yeah, Mattrick’s response was basically “got no internet? We’ve got a product for you. It’s called Xbox360”.
No thanks, Epic.
Hollow Knight! I’m 10 hours in and loving it.
Nah, Torrents and Newsgroups will always exist.
Ah, IGN. I stopped reading when Miller and co. left (and subsequently stopped watching Kinda Funny when Moriaty left).
I’m running a Corsair H110i on an 8700k (delidded w/liquidmetal TIM and overclocked to 5GHz) in a modded Phanteks Evolv case (front panel air intake increased by 6mm via spacers, top panel has a giant, water-cut exhaust vent), x3 140mm intake fans (x2 front, x1 rear), x2 140mm exhaust (mounted as “push” on the AIO);…
Was scrolling past and read that as “Bluetoothbrush”.

They’re all pretty good tbh (the women, at least). Short-short bangs, or a “fringe” as we call it over here, look ridiculous though. Hayley Williams, circa Paramore “self-titled” is a good (bad) example.
Gonna give Rocket League a go, what with it being free this weekend. Then onto Alien Isolation (£7.49 Steam sale bargain). Only an hour into it but loving the aesthetic.
I’m with you on the jump scare nonsense; it’s such a cheap way of generating fear.
I picked up the non-USB variant a few weeks back. Same spec; up to 27" and/or 6.5KG, yet it has no problem holding my 32" 6.7KG monitor and looks far better than the behemoth stand that came with my screen.

Fuck yeah!
I shop on Steam like I do in real life; enter store, grab what I need, checkout.
Gonna carry on with Mad Max, see if it gets any better and/or less repetitive. If not, Talos Principle it is.
I’ve got Microsoft (and their Windows 95 install CD) to thank for introducing me to Weezer!
All I wanna see this year is Doom 2 (unlikely, thanks to Rage 2), TLoU2 gameplay, Starfield (please be running on a new engine!) and a shit-ton of info on Cyberpunk 2077.
Give it a week or two and I’m sure there’ll be something similar on Thingiverse.
