After seeing the picture, I’m on Team Miranda here. Get to the concert early, have the champagne delivered, and take your group photo before the artist comes on stage. Later, during the concert, maybe a quick snap of her (preferably between songs) to show how close your view was. After that, put the fucking phone away

The ones being household names are actually part of the problem with getting public support. They are the 1% of 1% of actors, but a lot of people believe they’re indictive of all actors in the union. Even on this site you’ll see people talking about how they aren’t going to support “millionaire celebrities” and are

“The deal that SAG-AFTRA walked away from on July 12 is worth more than $1 billion in wage increases, pension, and health contributions and residual increases”

Counterpoint: we’ve polarized and lost empathy to the point that large portions of America reflexively side with corporate interests. Not because they trust them or have better experiences but because they have the shortsighted attitude of, “Tough shit, my work treats me like garbage too. Stop whining and get a real

If you see a concert and don’t post video online, did you even go?

I quit going to concerts ten years ago after I paid $700 to watch hundreds of people record Fleetwood Mac on their phones. The venue didn't do a damned thing.

The last baby boomer was born in 1964. Do you really think many 60 year olds are commenting on this website?

Call it what it is... trash. That is a trash song from a trash person who steals people’s tips and generally acts rude and entitled towards wait staff.

Do we want to relativize rudeness, though? Could they have waited until the artist was between songs t0 have someone take their picture?

They paid for a show.

1. That’s not a selfie. I know English is an evolving language but that’s not a fucking selfie, otherwise any goddamn photo with a face on it is a selfie.

That J. Lo song is....not good.

Yeah, we’re not talking about a stage play or symphony performance, especially when your chosen genre and branding is based on “rowdiness” and being “outlaws”

Uhh, they’re clearly right in front of Lambert in the first row. I can’t imagine how distracting that would be mid-song and she was 100% in the right to call them out. Not that the message appears to have landed.

Looks like a low-poly Ford Flex

So what’s with all the price gouging going on at every dealer? I know several people who held off on buying a new car because the prices were being padded and forget about a used car, those prices are insane.

People are struggling to afford basic necessities, of which new cars have never been, at least for those of us who didn’t want to lose value immediately after driving off the lot.

Fair market value is not fair.

Just yesterday went to a Chevy dealer here in Cerritos Ca to check out the new Trax base MSRP was $27k and after an added $5k markup and another $2k “Accesories” that vehicle was at $34K. So yeah dealer are still in a I can still sell for maximum phase.

Looked at a Mustang Mach-E with my son soon after they became available. $50k sticker with a $10k ADM, and ... they didn't have one available for a test drive. What a great marketing strategy.
