Pretty typical of a Red to blame history on Bourgeois instincts.

A week and a half ago, presidential candidate Bernie Sanders was speaking in Seattle, Wash., when he was interrupted…
They don’t hear you.
You’re wrong. None of the events that BLM protested were Sanders’ events. He was a speaker there. The first was netroots and the second was this social security drive in Seattle.
Let’s be honest, that Medicare rally in Seattle that Sanders spoke at was fish in a barrel.
The wooly mammoths were here before the Native Americans were.
“Even though Sanders is the best candidate, he definitely won’t win the Democratic nomination, and will never, ever win a general election.”
My response to everyone that’s been saying this to me, “Not with that attitude!” Also, America voted for a “socialist” or as good as one, FOUR times with FDR. We might need…
Does it fucking matter if your viewpoint has all the information in this case?
(1) White liberals, especially (or perhaps primarily) of a certain class (NB: I am a white liberal of a certain class) HATE being pushed on racial issues. I don’t really understand why. I mean, I get that it makes them uncomfortable. It makes ME uncomfortable. But fuck, man, most days the worst thing I have to worry…
That’s the thing that gets me. What is the platform that is being advocated for that Sanders somehow isn’t endorsing? None of these handwringing thinkpieces articulate it. Is there a policy that the candidates should endorse? What’s the plan?
The BLM controversy began when its members disrupted two of Clinton’s challengers at Netroots Nation in Phoenix, a gathering she didn’t attend.
Seems like a very all-or-nothing take. If Bernie can’t fix the problem 100%, on the day he takes office, then he’s ripe for criticism because he hasn’t done enough and won’t do enough in the future? Not really a fan of that analysis.
He’s not the only one: http://www.politicalcompass.org/uselection2012
On the off chance that Greg Howard reads this, let me be more direct and less sarcastic: I don’t substantially disagree with anything written between the paragraph that starts with “Fuck that, I say” and the end of the paragraph that starts with “Sanders’s philosophy talks around racism by...” (Actually that…
Adolph Reed, as usual, is relevant here: https://t.co/kRLUGw3kPb
Obama IS center-right.
You’re totally right—instead of planning to alleviate racism with economic tools, Sanders should instead just plan to make every American sign a pledge stating “I won’t be racist.” That would be a much better solution.
“as well-meant as they are, they don’t address the fact that even if he wins, there’s still going to be racism and everything that comes with it”
Just like as well-meaning as this article is, Greg, it doesn’t address the fact that even if he, or any Democrat, no matter how progressive, wins, they’re going to be dealing…
Hillary gets advance notice and a closed door private meeting, Sanders and O’Malley get ambushed. Right.
