This reminds me of a saying they have down in Texas - fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, you’re gonna get tinkle all over you.

This post had the unexpected effect of making me want a sandwich...

Two years through the looking glass, I’m still surprised at how politically inept Trump actually is. All of the leverage in a government shutdown comes from managing who gets pinned with the blame. The DACA fight, in which Chuck Schumer buckled like a belt after a single day shutdown, was lost in part because

Medicare For All has certainly taken a dark turn...

Justice Bart O’Kavanaugh already boofed it with the Trumpublican agenda? That can’t be intentional. I have to assume he was blackout drunk and just slept through the vote...

Parisian protestors chanting in English, zut alors!

No worries, been there (and earned the comment pile-on) myself :D

Not sure I follow your first point; the SDNY is a US District court, so it is a federal jurisdiction.

Rex Tillerson, didn’t have the mental capacity needed. He was dumb as a rock and I couldn’t get rid of him fast enough. He was lazy as hell.

Yeah, Thanos isn’t a particularly deep thinker. He could have used the gauntlet to rewrite all creatures’ DNA so they’re only half as fertile, or made everyone photosynthetic, or a ton of other things that would be effective far longer than murdering folks would be.

So it’s basically the plot of Superman III?

I know Infinity War didn’t make it very clear, but it has to be 50% of sentient life, not of all life. Thanos’ big hangup is the lack of resources due to overpopulation, so killing off half the universe’s food supply wouldn’t help fix that problem.

She’s more machine than ma’am now, twisted and evil.

The guns in this game definitely aren’t going to be the only thing that get triggered :D

Pence is the guy who won’t eat lunch with an unchaparoned woman for fear of being accused of impropriety; I imagine it’s possible he has his head buried so deep in the sand that he honestly doesn’t know what’s going on with Trump.

I agree with all of this. And while I don’t have an actual preference at this point for a Democratic nominee, I’d love to see Kamala Harris just so Trump has to deal with losing to a black woman.

It was for name recognition, no doubt, but the size of the company wasn’t that big at the time. The original Unreal dev team was something like 20-25 people, if I remember right.

Epic is huge. They’ve been around almost thirty years, and really blew up when Gears of War turned out to be a massive hit. They had more than 200 people on staff when Tencent bought a big chunk of the company, and that was back in 2012.
