TLJ as improv and Rian Johnson not understanding the rule of “yes, and...” is exactly how I’ve described that film.

So far, the only investigation of Cohen that’s dragged him into a courtroom isn’t Mueller’s, but the one run out of the federal prosecutor’s office in the southern district of New York. Trump would have to fire so many people to halt that prosecution, it’ll make Nixon’s Watergate coverup look like a clerical error.
Leaving the EU is going to create barriers for tourism and job growth in the UK that haven’t existed in decades, putting London’s position as a global financial center into question. While a private citizen might find ways to take advantage of that, I can’t see how living in a poorer, less globally relevant UK will do…
If I had to guess, it’s only because they’d begun work on this before Witcher 3 came out. I’m sure the gameplay has influenced some of how the final game turns out, but it wasn’t a point of departure for the studio, etc.
My wife and I call it the Statler and Waldorf.
I’m optimistic they won’t buckle on this. Unlike the DACA-supporting government shutdown they initiated and then bailed on, this conflict has clearly been instigated by the White House, and it gives them leverage in their response. Pelosi, Schumer and the rest of the usual suspects can get on TV, tell us how a…
Yeah, I wonder what the real limit on that would be. Evidence tantamount to a confession of treason would still be regarded as fake news or a liberal conspiracy by what, 20% of America? 30% maybe? Representatives in districts dominated by that sort of culture war Republicans may not vote to impeach for any reason,…
Unless Mueller has ironclad evidence of Trump directly colluding with Russia, something he can take public, it isn’t going to matter - the Republican majority in the House isn’t going to vote to impeach over anything short of a second Watergate.
It won’t make any difference. Liberals know it’s not true and will vote for Democrats, while conservatives don’t care it’s not true and will vote for Republicans. The only thing that matters is turnout, and I can’t see this issue sending anyone to the polls who wasn’t already intending to go.
And more importantly, this is happening because she’s just been indicted on federal wire fraud charges and is now potentially facing 20 years in prison.
I think it needs to be noted in this conversation that it’s Tom Glavine who was, in fact, a Brave, barring that lamentable period he spent with the Mets.
Carry on.
I don’t think Gen X are likely to have much impact in federal politics. It’s a small cohort, and the youngest of that generation will already be age 42 or so by the time the 2020 election arrives, but they’ve yet to produce any politicians of real substance. I mean, who is the most consequential American politician…
The Baby Boomers are going to make us pry leadership of the nation out of their cold, dead hands.
If I had to guess, Elder Scrolls VI will almost certainly be on the next generation of consoles.
Granted it was the other team, but the Mariners hate to see men injured like that.
I can’t imagine it’ll make a difference. If you speak Spanish in public or have a Hispanic last name, you’re begging for an ICE raid.
I think you’re disregarding the complexity of Trump supporters, because I know some who are at least two of those things.
I’m actually wondering how could anyone eat them cold O_o
