I grew up in northern Ohio so forgive my ignorance here, but what culture is ‘Beto’ being appropriated from?

Going into his administration, I actually thought Obama’s maternal parentage would actually get him some degree of respect from conservative voters. What an ignorant dumbass I was back then.

This story turned out to be a total nunburger.

Currently, the president can’t do anything to punish the video game industry. The US Supreme Court has ruled* that video games are protected speech, and so neither Congress nor the White House can do anything to limit their availability or control their content, provided they abide by existing restrictions on obscene

I humbly ask for forgiveness

This is really interesting to me - you’d have 19 years of Baby Boomers (46-64), 16 years of Gen X (65-80), 10 years of Gen Y (81-90), and 8 years of Millenials (91-98). How granular do you think that can go? I mean, would you view ten years or fewer as the maximum going forward? Going with the Millenials eight-year

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck, she just murdered him with a little tickle under the chin!

While the prosecutor is a complete shitstain who ought to be serving time for this, why the hell didn’t Brown’s attorney get those phone records himself? A public defender can subpoena that just as easy as a district attorney can.

In Texas, the overturned verdict just upgrades you to “innocent but black” status, which gets you your freedom, some dirty looks and a bus ticket to the state line. To get “actually innocent,” you not only have to prove you didn’t do it, but also that the shitbag prosecutor set you up to take the fall. So, hey, here’s

I dunno - if you were old enough to see Nirvana play live, I don’t think I’d call you a millenial.

Oooooooooooh you didn’t know? Your ass better caaaaaaaaaall somebody!

Given that Gen-X runs the world now

If you push back Millenial start point to 1991, what do you fill in those extra ten years with?

I don’t understand all the pushback on this, as Trump and the Republicans clearly have a point. I mean, just look at Japan, home of Nintendo and the Playstation, where video games are as popular as in the US. They have two or three school shootings a day over there because their maladjusted youth have been corrupted

The Republican who was shot, Steve Scalise, was at today’s televised circus with the president and even proposed some impassable concealed carry legislation as a poison pill to kill Democratic support for improved background checks. He’s a martyr due for sainthood by NRA measures.

None shall pass!! But iso offenses don’t do so well either.

Man, that really bites.

Is there really any value in getting blown out in an election, though? Maybe just in name recognition, but I can’t see her parlaying a hilarious bust of a House run into any national profile media gig.

The 44th district is already represented by a woman. It’s been represented by women since it was redistricted in 2012. Only one man has even appeared on the district ballot in the last three elections, losing to Janice Hahn in a 74-point landslide in 2014. The district also last voted for Hillary Clinton as president,

South LA was redistricted into the 44th in 2012, so it electoral history looks mixed, but the area itself has been voting Democrat far longer than that. It’s so blue they literally haven’t even had a Republican on the ballot in the past three House elections. I really don’t want to make the ‘clueless’ joke, but Dash
