I am in your boat, and I will carry that flag.

I hope her plea deal involves the witness protection program. Or she might end up drinking some polonium tea.
You know, I am sure that any second the republican opposition will in good faith take the compromise and work for good governance. I mean they haven’t done it in 30 or so years so this must be it.
I have to agree that the practicality of it is obvious, but I don’t think we are in practical times. Our world is literally burning, and this is no time to play politicking to assuage this turds ego. Call him the dumb ass that he is, call out his stupidity, blast his dangerous manipulation of all things economic, forei…
I’ll bet there are a bunch of people in your position who feel the same way. Giving in to Trump while his power is waning is incredibly unwise, because it sends a signal to Republicans that they should continue stepping all over the Democrats AFTER Janary 3rd.
“The deal could carry a penalty of up to five years in prison, but it’s expected that Butina’s cooperation will earn her a lesser sentence. After that, she’ll most likely be deported to Russia.”
Spending billions on a huge fence will also have real world consequences for real people.
Cheap red hair dyed Russian sex honey pot fetishizing guns and “virility” of American males.
It’s more fun if you imagine that it was actually Eric Erickson she got mixed up with.
As literally the very comment you’re replying to here explained, “The President doesn’t write the budget. Congress does. If the President refuses to sign a budget bill, that’s his fucking fault.”
The first thing. Because it normalizes how we treat the disenfranchised and allows republicans to repeat this pattern FOREVER.
None of that seemed to bother the Republicans when Obama was in power.
The President doesn't write the budget. Congress does. If the President refuses to sign a budget bill, that's his fucking fault.
Then Donald Trump probably shouldn’t hold the government hostage over funding for his unpopular wall that he said Mexico would pay for. This is a Trunp problem he can deal with, not a problem for Democrats to solve.
Dammit. My job (and therefore, livelihood) depends on government funding for one of the agencies that would be impacted by a shutdown and yet I would happily watch from home, broke and figuring out which Christmas present to burn for heat if it meant not giving a single cent to this fucking wall.
This: "Trump promised Mexico would pay for it. The American people won't."
This is still the GOP and Trump holding a gun to the American people and asking for money.
You forget, they have to win favor with those massive hordes of undecided voters that rove the Great Plains like a majestic herd of buffalo.
“Oh no, but won’t the Democrats own a government shutdown and pay in the next election?”
Democrats shouldn’t give him shit. Let him shut down the government, then they should go on Fox news and explain that Trump promised Mexico would pay for the wall. That if Trump was truly a great deal maker, and fiscally conservative, then he would find a deal that is great for the citizens of this country.
Who am I…
