As a figure collector, the figures alone justify the price tag. The base game is about $60, and each of those figures would sell for between $30-60 if they were separate releases. The Infinity Stones may not be the best selling point, but you are definitely getting your money’s worth in this CE.

I have no idea what I just read, but this is obviously one of the most necessary articles of our generation.

I think a follow up article on how to spot a fake seller is also appropriate. eBay is notorious for distributing these bootleg figures in the West. Often, sellers will have either a very low volume of sales and a low eBay approval rating, or a HUGE volume of sales of multiple types of figures at low cost. Typically,

At first I was expecting an answer more along the lines of, “Her skeleton is the same frame used on all female characters. We didn’t feel like making a seperate one for one character.” But his actual answer is a lot more convoluted.

Gundam: Federation vs. Zeon is still one of my all time favorite games. Gundam Vs. Zeta Gundam is pretty good too, but really is just a reskin of Fed. vs. Zeon.

It seems like they’ve stripped away the story and made it mostly a brawler now though.

I wonder if people are inventing the memories of this title by combining two similarly sounding JRPG classics--Tales of Symphonia (Gamecube, PS2) and Skies of Arcadia (Dreamcast). They aren’t as old as the PS1, granted, but they are both games that have a lot of nostalgia surrounding them.

There are two cavet’s to Orisa’s viability. First, competitive play and quick play are not made the same. Orisa can be quite formidable in quick play, but she doesn’t synergize with current (and still effective) meta strategies in competitive to be a game change. Second, Orisa is not an anchor tank (as promised), but

So wait, he had a very valuable package sent to him via mail, underinsured, and without a tracking number? Are you crazy? This is exactly what those things are for. When sending things worth this much, it may even be worth it to get a private courier, or just spend another thousand and go pick it up yourself.

I think they are also trying to match the graphical quality of the game. The Bioshock games have an almost plastic aesthetic.

I’m sorry for your loss. Only you and your family can truly assign meaning to the save files, but perhaps it is good to think of it as if your father were a carpenter or mason—would you throw away a dining set he made that took 4600 hours? Would you tear down a building he spent 4600 constructing?

To answer your question about buildings, you can archive them in a sense—registers of historical places are in essence archives of buildings. However, preservation has largely accepted a theoretical framework wherein modification of a building due to its continued or historical use (known as “adaptive reuse”) is just

The Luke Skywalker one is so impressive I am having trouble believing it isn’t actually Mark Hamill!

I’m a historic preservationist (albeit an architectural one), and a lot of the problems you are describing here are also problems we have preserving significant material culture like buildings and landscapes as well. Like video games, building styles tend to be forgotten or taken for granted until they are gone and

What made F.E.A.R so memorable to me is the outstanding support Vivendi Games gave me when I purchased a copy and my disc didn’t work. After they verified my purchase was legit, they bent over backwards to get my game working, eventually sending me a whole new disc since the problem ended up being the physical game

Talk about some sweet bay-side property.

I’m curious how Daggerfall’s map of Tamriel compares to the individual parts shown in later games. Like, if you put Skyrim from “Skyrim” overtop of Daggerfall’s map, how much smaller or bigger is it?

For true authenticity, a few of those pokeballs should be Voltorbs that explode when you pick them up.

I’m not a Pokemon Go player, so take my opinion with a grain of salt, but the regular Pokemon games have, within the game, things like the Poke Radar the article is describing. Heck, you can look up Pokemon spawn points in the Pokedex in the old games. Wandering aimlessly has never been the goal of Pokemon—Pokemon was

The animation on this is great, but I feel like the dialogue makes it lose something. I wish it were silent and only set to the music.

I was highly impressed with the map on the Division. However, I was also disappointed in some things. For example, the Empire State Building looks absolutely nothing like it’s real world counterpart. Also, you can tell a British studio made the map because they didn’t bother to get certain American details right.
