They have to upgrade to HD tvs by this year or next year. If someone told me to buy yet another new TV (especially just for something like 3D), I'd tell them to f-off too.

@Experiment626: Stealing left shoes: I don't actually think the government will wash their hands of the marriage business either; I only wish they would.
@vinod1978: She'll think twice before recording stuff in a theater. (Well, probably not...)
@Nicholas Pepersack: She's probably represented by Jim "The Hammer" Shapiro. [en.wikipedia.org]
@coketown: Don't worry. It's a good story. Thanks.
@Experiment626: Stealing left shoes: I'd rather that everyone be treated equally as individuals.
@Realityism ▲: 3 is the way to go. People's living arrangements are not something the state should be involved in. No one should get tax breaks based on being married or single, gay or straight. Everyone should be treated equally as individuals.
@ThisCharmingMan: People who get married or become domestic partners choose to do that too.
I'd rather that straight married couples lose tax benefits. Marriage is a religious or personal matter between 2 (or more) people. It's not something the state should be involved in, straight, gay, or other.
@pixelsnader: No, the TV is just really tiny. The plug is HUUUUGE.
I thought we already had DisplayPort as the new anti-HDMI...?
@thinkthis: If Android had some good docking system that basically turned your phone into a desktop PC when docked, hooked up to a 24 inch super ultra HD screen, you might need that 2ghz.
@lostarchitect: There are a few other sites that offer a lot of public domain works in kindle format (many of those are available directly from amazon for $0 too). My personal favorite is feedbooks.com (though i use it for epub).
@Sent from my toilet: That last pun was a real bummer, like you were straining to squeeze one out. Butt, getting back to the issue... this woman is being quite anal, and making a big stink over nothing. Lucky for her, google was kind enough to rectify the situation.
@Sent from my toilet: She should turn the other cheek.
Will it be called the "cPad"?
@blackcat12: I think it's actually impossible to buy anything not ridiculously expensive that isn't made in "deplorable" conditions.
Yea, great. Document viewing is lame. We need some real, good tools for creating and editing our documents. Sure, a smartphone isn't optimal, but it's certainly do-able, especially when, gasp, connected to a bluetooth/usb keyboard and an external screen.
But if all the secretaries and nurses and such get replaced by machines and robots, who will be left for office affairs? Just robots.... oh wait.... HOT!
@im2fools: I wouldn't take my son to see a doctor about a little diarrhea, unless it lasted a few days.
