I'm not annoyed that the review didn't like the game... I'm annoyed that their reasoning was pretty much "oh this isn't Skyrim." Criticizing an open world RPG for not having a great storyline while lauding Skyrim as the best thing to ever go on a disc seems ridiculous. I'm 8 hours into Dragon's Dogma... there are

Are people playing on XBLA or Steam?

Really... Kotaku?

I am starting to find it a bit odd that it comes up EVERY time... but it's not very annoying.

I'm 6 hours in on 360 and haven't found many bugs... Some pop in and some bad screen tearing but a steady framerate and close to zero actual full-on bugs.

Wait... you thought the combat was basic and you counter by saying you like Skyrim? I love Skyrim for different reasons but the combat is just not advanced at all.

I'm 6 hours in and absolutely loving it. no idea what Joystiq is on.

Thanks, no idea how I missed this. I remember thinking it was incredible it didn't exist!

I'm in the US... I must have been drunk the time I searched for it or something... thanks!

Wait.... There's NO iPad version of Fieldrunners right now, right?

I juuuuuust picked it up. Was waiting for a bit of the release-day reviews to make sure I wanted to pull the trigger. I understand the negative aspects of what I'm in for and I'm still really excited.

It's about time.

Any opinion on system?

Alright... I'm absolutely on the border of making Dragon's Dogma be the first game I've pre-ordered since Portal 2. Anybody care to convince me to pull the trigger?

Oh yeah I'm sure the Canadian Major Junior league's wouldn't be happy at all. The war against the NCAA is an intense one!

Yep, in NHL 11, and the talk was that NCAA was going to come the next year but it doesn't seem to have materialized yet. It's one of those things where people (even if maybe a very small group) really want an NCAA Hockey game but clearly there isn't a market for a full game so it makes sense to include it in the EA

I'm really excited for it but it doesn't quite have me at a pre-order yet (of course the only game I've pre-ordered in the last year or so was Portal 2...). Dragon's Dogma is trying to do soooo much to change a genre (or combine several) that I'm afraid it may just fall flat on its face so I'm going to wait a bit

I'm so so so excited for Dragon's Dogma... But I'm not pulling the trigger on the pre-order just yet. The game is trying to do SO MUCH and I think it's either going to do it well and be a sleeper Game of the Year candidate or fall flat on its face. Gonna wait for some reviews myself. :D

And Fenway :D

College Hockey INC was supposed to be negotiating with EA to get it done for NHL 12... I was hoping they would get it together by 2013.
