Guess you're not included in the "we" then...

I meant what I said, we're getting the really exciting game first.

So we get the game we're all actually excited about first?

Too bad every time they try to improve security we all complain about it to no end.

BF3 is mostly electronically remixed from the BF1942 theme...

How the music was made certainly doesn't subtract from the credibility...

Thought as an overall experience Orcs Must Die was better.

I agree with both you and ch3burashka...

I played it... but the draw is limited and it doesn't last more than 2 hours or so. Some of the missions seemed frustratingly impossible too.

While I'll admit it hadn't crossed my mind that Dead Space 2 was a 2011 game I don't think it received a nomination for me. It was linear and repetitive and none of the action sequences that had me continually retrying were exciting enough that I ever thought "OOOOO I get to do that again!"

Somewhere in the middle of making the game incredibly period specific I think the art style got just a little bit stale. It certainly didn't ooze character or anything.

If you wouldn't have a problem with a movie depicting similar events you shouldn't have a problem with a video game doing so either...

If by come a long way you mean the first game was way better...

Hmmmm...... Four player split screen?! Yes... No?!

I FINALLY found it on PSN... only to get a "sorry this content is not available on your account" message. Is it only open to PSN-Plus members or something?

Funny... I could swear I'm using one to write this comment... WAIT, AM I FROM THE FUTURE?!?!

Defense of the Ancients.

Fair enough, the gaming community does strike me as a generally liberal group... I'm not a libertarian myself, that jab at the end of this article just hit me completely the wrong way.

Yeah... because SERIOUS competitive players always go around killing their own team on purpose... that really gives you a competitive chance to win the game!

It's allowed to be subjective about what people come here to read about, there's absolutely no reason for there to be political commentary in Kotaku articles. Beyond all else it risks alienating a significant portion of readers.
