Good point. That's why I really struggle with paying for subscription music services. I will rather use the free version for music discovery and then buy the best stuff I find for keeps.

Keeping that thing updated would be so annoying, especially if everything is in Google calendar. Perhaps an old laptop LCD screen wall mounted with a Raspberry Pi/usb wifi adapter behind it would be way cooler. This is decent for decoration if nothing else, but not practical.
I'm sure it violates something, but I don't think it's clear-cut (which always seems to be the case with Microsoft licensing). I think it would come down to client access licenses, and since you can't buy terminal server CALs for Windows 7/XP that I know of, I don't know what Microsoft would do about it, unless you…
They have an FAQ which should put you more at ease, but I don't see the actual Privacy Policy anywhere. So you basically have to take them at their word that they are only gathering header information. [yearinreview.toutapp.com]
That's what I was thinking. I guess you could argue that the warranty does cover software and hardware, so if anything, only the software side of the warranty should be voided, not the hardware.
I think there are other legitimate laws that would prevent you from doing anything "you want" with your sperm, but the FDA is ridiculous and they should probably focus their efforts on things besides making pharmaceutical companies filthy rich.
It probably has more to do with the frequency that these types of accidents occur. If everybody flew planes then this would be a frequent occurrence. I agree that the fascination is "morbid", but isn't that exactly what constitutes "newsworthiness" for today's media outlets? If nobody cared about it, then it wouldn't…
Wow, that analogy is brilliant and hilarious. Well done.
Well, maybe this:
"The one problem with gadgets is power." Umm... I think the other big problem is software. Bugs, security flaws, lacking features. Can they write non-beta software?
I don't know why, but this makes me want to move to Canada.
Unless your country just keeps printing money to deal with a debt crises, in which case, it just costs more to print.
That's a cool pic, but it doesn't really help me at all because I have never seen any of those comparison objects in real life. Throw a 747 on there or something.
For me it's a consistent user experience. I want to be able to get an android phone based on nice hardware and have the same Android experience. Skins on older versions of Android were ok because they lacked polish (and features), but ICS changes that. The least they can do is allow their skin to be easily…
Good plan, as long as Google voice VOIP remains free for the US & Canada in 2012. I'm not counting on it.
Because it's more convenient to have a cell network to fall back on when you travel. I suppose you could have an unlocked smartphone, and just buy a prepaid card for use when traveling, but that's annoying.
As of right now, free VOIP calling with Google voice is set to expire at the end of this year. I'd say there is still a chance they extend it, with limits. Still you're at the mercy of Google, plus there are silly limitations for receiving calls, which could be resolved by having it natively built-in to Android, and…

Tamp...I mean Bounty.
I would rather have Congress simplify the tax code so this cumbersome garbage isn't necessary.
